I found Simone and Son when someone posted a ring they wanted on Facebook. I was going to propose to my girlfriend and went to Tiffany's at first, but wanted something custom, more personal.

I got the idea to propose to my girlfriend while I was living in Paris, France. I Skyped the shop and got in touch with Shant and told him my whole crazy plan. I basically asked him to design and build a ring, then I'd come back to the states and approve and then pay for it in full. Sounds crazy, right? Like a Nigerian Prince wanted to share his fortune with you? Well I thought he would blow me off cause it totally sounded like a scam, but I convinced him that I am a local SoCal guy who wants to do something crazy and special for my (now) wife.

I flew in from Paris and immediately went to pick up the ring, and I was blown away. Not only was it exactly what we wanted, the center stone was much better than I ever thought I'd be able to afford. No exaggeration, the same ring from Tiffany's would have been 4 times as expensive, and 0 times as special.

If you don't have an ordinary guy/gal, don't buy an ordinary ring. Do something special and wonderful. It was easier and less expensive than I ever thought possible.

LAST THING- they don't leave you to fend for yourself once they sell you a ring! We visit the shop about twice a year to get them cleaned (My wife got my ring from them in addition to her wedding band and engagement ring) and a small diamond replaced, free of charge.

Jasmine, Simone, and Shant are wonderful people. We love coming down and chatting while our rings get serviced.

I am actually writing this review for my fiance John! The ring that was given to me from John is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen!!! I actually told him that I don't think I could have picked out a ring that is more perfect! John had a WONDERFUL experience with this jeweler.... they took the time to really get to know him and listen to everything he had to say about my taste. The ring they created is modern and timeless but also has a ""vintage"" look to it (to match my style) I get more compliments on my ring then I could have ever imagined! They helped him design the most amazing ring and it hasn't left my finger since January! Every time I go in here to get it cleaned they always take the time to help me and make sure everything is still perfect! I am so excited to have them help us design our wedding bands! John learned about this place from a close friend who also got his engagement ring here! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect ring for your engagement!

From the moment we entered Simone & Son, we were greeted with all of the warmth imagineable. Being both of our first times ever in the market of searching for an engagement ring, we sat with Yasmine and showed her various photos of the design that my wife wanted for her engagement ring. Yasmine got to work and drew a picture that brought a tear to my wife's eye (as well as Yasmine's). \r
When the ring was finished and I proposed to my wife, it was, in my wife's words 'the most perfect and beautiful ring'. Not only did the quality and beauty of the ring far exceed our expectations, but we have made wonderful friends with Shant, Yasmine and Simone. They truly are a breath of fresh air because they treat you like family. I had no doubt that I was going to purchase our rings with them- after the very first visit because there was no pressure. Instead, I was given honest and sincere information and didn't feel rushed or obligated. On the contrary, Shant was willing to assist me with numerous questions and information that really educated us on purchasing diamonds- even after closing. \r

My husband and I are second generation customers of Simone and Son, his Mother and Father were also patrons. The customer service and store consistently get better every year. They treat every customer like family and can custom design just about anything you can imagine. I own multiple pieces of jewelry from this store and they are ageless and timeless. Prices are more then reasonable and if they don't have what you are looking for then chances are they can make it.

I've been all over with my fiance, looking for a ring that's unique and not a total rip-off, and it was practically impossible! But then we found Simone & Son, and they have this computer design system and I watched them design my ring on a big TV so it was exactly what I wanted! SO COOL. AND it was a great price! They were so knowledgable and friendly there too. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We will definitely be going back for our wedding bands! I highly recommend for great quality and service!
