Horrible!
We will never come back to this restaurant.
We waited for a long time to be seated. The seating area dirty and the customer service was very bad. We were seated near the bar area and several customers were watching the baseball game on TV when some woman sat down and asked the bartender to change the channel which he did. The customers started to get upset, the manager was called in and he basically told us there wasn't anything he was going to do and he wasn't changing the channel, and then he sat down with that woman!! I guess he showed us--that was he final reply to our dilemma--If we didn't like it oh well!
The food poorly prepared, and if you want to be treated badly, and eat food which is not good and be treated by your servers and management as if you were second rate, then please go you will probably enjoy this place. UGH!

Your average bar food
From the description, I thought this might be a mid-scale restaurant. In actuality - it is just your average bar food served in a better atmosphere and surrounding. I ordered the prime rib which was overcooked and fatty. It was a good thing I did not paid the full $22 as it was on special. Salad was OK and so was the fried oyster appetizers. Service staff was good but not enough to bring up the food quality. If you want a good steak - just go to a national chain like Outback or Lonestar. To be fair - I did not try their seafood. But if you going to put prime rib house on your name - it should be above average.
Pros: Nice views, nice happy hours selection
Cons: Average food that is overpriced

Stale Crab and Poor Service
We were attracted to try out this restaurant due to a B1G1 entree promotion through a company discount card. We confirmed it at reservation time and at ordering time that we can use the discount card, but when we were about to pay our bill, they refused to honor it! The reason is out of the 4 entrees that we ordered, 2 of them were their specials. I believe they would've refused it regardless even if you have only 1 person out of a party of 20 ordering a special. It would have been nice if the waitress did not misinform us though. Serving of the entrees are quite slow, food is mediocre, some appetizers are ok portion, some on the small side. The worst part is the crab in my crab cioppino smells and tastes stale. I don't believe a good seafood chef would ever serve a crab that smells stale. Waitress is not particularly friendly either.
The pros about this restaurant is they do have a nice view and some decently (or more reasonably) priced specials. So if you are budget minded, want to dine at a restaurant with a nice view (which applies only before sunset), and don't care about your food too much, it doesn't hurt to try it out.
However, if you're expecting great seafood, there are much better places around the area.
Pros: Nice view, easy parking
Cons: Stale seafood, unimpressive and relatively slow service

A Great Find
Arrivederci & Bella restaurant was a great find for us newcomers. We've gotten window seatings all three times we enjoyed dinner there. Everything we've ordered, especially fresh seafood, has been prepared and served well. It's our favorite restaurant outside of San Francisco.
Pros: boats, sunset, linen

hidden gem
Been there twice...first a disaster. Seated ourselves, waiter never gave us anything and another waiter questioned his abiltiy in front of us and other table had left since they waited so long. An hour from time to order to get the food, had to ask for everything at least twice.
Second time...seated by hostest who tried her best to get us a window seat. Prompt service and only asked for anything once or not at all such as water. Food was GREAT and you canNOT beat the value. $12 for prime rib, potatoe, veggies, and bread. Dipping au jus and horse radish included. I don't know what nkwan is saying but prime rib is SUPPOSED to be fatty....marbeling for you chef types out there. And the VIEW....overlooks the bay and the 92 bridge and a little marina. VALUE in the bay area?!?!!? i WILL repeat
Pros: parking, food, inexpensive (4 prime)
Cons: 50/50 waiters
