I went into this dealership on 5/28/2011 and traded in my 2011 Toyota Camry because I needed a truck. The sales team was very friendly and very quick to answer any questions that I had. As with dealing with any dealership, it wasn't completly painless, however Don Duddridge, the Operations Manager contacted me today, and went out of his way to correct this issue. It wasn't nothing major, however I needed my license plates for my new truck by the end of June. In the end, I will have my plates by Tuesday. Don was VERY helpful, and has taken care of it all. Other then the issue with the license plates, and going round and round on it and not being able to get a answer until Don got involved, everything was perfect. I was also very surprised to get a great trade in on my Camry.
If anyway is looking for a used Camry that was taken care of and in better shape then ANY USED CAR YOU WILL EVER FIND... contact Cabe Toyota. The car was serviced EVERY 5000 miles, and it only has 15,000 on it now. The sport edition.

I have bought quite a few vehicles, I have always dreaded it! This was simple! Sheri did a great job and when I came in, Kenny was by far the best person I have ever worked with! I was in and out in about an hour and a half with my new truck! Kenny did an awesome job finding the truck and getting it to the dealership for me! I was planning on buying another vehicle in the next 5 months or so, and I will be pushing my fiance to get the Toyota, so I can come back to Cabe! Thank you for everything!

Subject: Lakewood Resident vs Toyota Long Beach problem
Last Sunday Vince took money from his retirement fund, and bought a 2010 Toyota from Ron Aleman Sales Consultant from Cabe Toyota.
2 days later, we hear there is the "recall". I called Ron and asked him if he had known about it prior to the sale.
He said he had heard something was coming down the "pipeline" but he didn't know what.
When I asked him why didn't he disclose this info, he transferred me to their service department.
This is Vince's retirement car. He took money from his retirement fund, so he could have a new car to enjoy, during his retirement.
The worst part is..Ron Aleman knew about the problem, prior to the sale, and I think this is criminal.
They're website reads, they want their customers to be happy, and if there are any problems with the sales, they're willing to "work with us".
So far, they haven't worked with us, even when I told them (in writing and on the phone), that I am writing to you. These people just do NOT care.

I bought my car from Cabe several years ago and have been very happy with all of the service. The car runs great and is very dependable. Overall I am very satisfied.

Cabe Toyota provided fairly poor service considering how promising it initially seemed, with service advisors ready to assist and a shuttle service to surrounding areas while you wait. They weren't very helpful in providing advice ahead of time even though they were given an apt description of our problem - a nail in the back right tire. Knowing this, they didn't check in advance to see if they had a tire for this rather marginal make of vehicle. As a result, we had to go down to Long Beach from Pasadena, once for them to stare at the nail and the second time for them to replace the tire. On the second visit, they told us the replacement would take half an hour. It turned out to take over an hour and a half, during which an hour and fifteen minutes passed before the car was even looked at. There were no status reports during this long wait. Afterwards, their only remedy to ease the frustration was a discount on the labor (about $10 worth) - a small remedy for the additional trip down to Long B
