The carne asada fries and rolled tacos are great here. It's definitely the best place to get Carne Asada fries. It's open 24 hours like many of the mexican taco shops in San Diego.

I love getting the carne asada fries and nachos here. They are always delicious and made perfectly. Open super late so you can always curb your hunger!

Santana's Mexican Food is my local "taco shop". There are a couple of others but I walk the extra block to Santana's because the food is out of this world! The restaurant itself is always clean, and you can just tell they take pride in their business! I am always more then full after eating at Santana's Mexican Food! They don't hold back with their portions! The food itself is just great; a perfect blend of all the right ingredients! Santana's Mexican Food is the best Mexican food restaurant in this area!

Not to be confused with other "Santanas", Santana is located close to SDSU. Open 24 hours and has a great menu. Personal recomendations are the California Burrito and Tecate Chicken Quesadilla. Anything on the menu is good and very well priced. The quick service and great food puts Santana above many of the other Mexican restaurants in town.
