Artifax International Gallery

I found the unique "zen" ambience of this store refreshing after a very warm day going through other cookie-cutter stores with typical tourist items. The owner, Ms. Bailie, is delightful, as is her variety of merchandise, and knowledge of Sonoma. I plan to return on my next visit to Sonoma.

This shop on the Plaza carries a number of unique items handcrafted from various countries, like fountains, statues, candles, beads, and jewelry. I was impressed by their beautifully designed and delicate perfume bottles handblown from pyrex. The gemstone necklaces would be a welcome splash of color to anyones jewelry collection, its really tough to choose. Prices are what you might expect in a tourist-oriented gift shop, but not exorbitant.
