East is located in Los Angeles' Little Tokyo district, and it is one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. All of the dishes, including the sushi, are very good. I especially like the Makunouchi, which is a Japanese lunch box (bento) with a variety of small dishes. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous.
Park in one of the lots in Little Tokyo or on the street.
