Cyrog Peter Dvm - High Desert Animal Care Hosp

This place may seem like they are all about animals but when it comes down to it....their all about the money.
I brought my 4 month old puppy to this vet in desperate need of help. With no money (right at that moment) or care credit eligibility.
I then left my dog with them and proceeded to search for any possible ways of payment.
They WOULD NOT start any treatment without any sort of payment...by this point my baby was bleeding internally and vomiting up everything (Parvo)
Then come to find out 5 HOURS LATER they will except Co-lateral.
My puppy died a day later...
And i am left with a 700.00 bill.
I believe that my baby would have survived and still been with me today if treatment would have began way sooner than did.

-Why didn't they let me know about co-lateral in the beginning?
-Why wait 5 hours to help a puppy that is physically and emotionally in pain?
-Why do you need MONEY before the treatment of a young life?

I have been to High Desert many times now, over the course of a couple years. I am always treated politely and with respect. Everyone listens and tries very hard to get answers to any questions I have. The prices are very reasonable. I am very happy with all who work there. Everyone behaves with compassion and professionalism.

I have switched to High Desert in the last couple of years because the other place nearby, after my 8 years of patronage and many, many thousands of dollars, treated me like they didn't know me when I needed a little bit of help. It was truly heart breaking and offensive to me. Their prices were extremely high, as well. I then switched over to High Desert and all I can say is that HIGH DESERT PET HOSPITAL IS SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY.

I have been going here for around 7 years. They do the free health checkups for pets adopted from the pound. They are always able to get me an appointment when I need it, same day usually. I've taken my cat and 2 of my dogs there, and will be going there today for a puppy I just adopted from the pound. Rates are reasonable, no higher than any other vet. As far as I remember they were the cheapest to spay my cat when I had her. Dr. Naditch is great.

We have been using High Desert Animal Care Hospital for the last 12 years for our 3 dogs.They always have same day appointments their prices are fair but some times the nurses can be cranky to your pet ex we had a pit bull that we took for the low cost vaccines located out side. When it was are turn the nurse made a big stink because she had to go to him(maybe 10 feet from the table were the shots were) he was down at the other end of the building. No2 our boxer went in last Sept with a skin problem the nurse pulled him(really pulled hard he was scared) by the leash to the back room to get shots and them came and lectured us be cause he was not neuter and how he can die so and so fourth. In the end I guess their OK.

I had to have my dog put down. These people lost the cremains that I had paid for and then lied to me, stalled me and never checked to see where they were. I was told to call back or they would call me but no one ever checked on it. Then when I got upset they said my dog was there. (I'm sure they meant ashes) and then they said they were checking with the crematory. They charge too much and they're inconsiderate. My dog meant a lot to me and this experience was stressful.

I have been taking my animals to High Desert for over 12 years. I have never had a bad experience, even when I had to put my beloved pets to sleep, the staff was compassionate and caring. The doctors came out and discussed the treatment they were giving my Nela and when the treatment didn't work the doctor was very honest about costs. She had broke her back and the doctor said that they could keep working on her but it would be costly and he didn't think it would help, I really appreciated the honesty and concern for our family. Over the past 12 years they have assisted in helping myself and my family through some really hard times with our pets, now I have some young pets and I will always bring my pets to High Desert. Just to let you know my family is a multitude of races and we have never been treated badly by anyone at High Desert. Thank You High Desert... Lisa Nava-Hough

high desert animal care was the best place i have ever brought my pet. dr. C is a very smart most educated vet i have ever seen, Dr. naiditch is also awesome. i reccommond this place to anyone who has a problem w/ there animals.

I have been doing business with this vet since 1994 - they are the best and very compasionate. They had to put my cat down and they were wonderful. No one could be better than Dr. Gay Niditch, she is great. I took my pug there thinking I would have to put her down, the Dr. looked over her chart, said her thyroid levels were just slightly down on the last visit, and did blood work - they put her on synthroid and she's great now. She's 17 and go a new lease on life. Both my dogs are doing well and get seen there. I drive from Rosamond to Palmdale to see them.

Please do yourself a favor, don't take any of your pets there..
This is worst place to get your dog or cat treated. Some fly laid an egg on my dog and that egg went inside him and was living..growing and eating his blood everyday.
My dog was really uncomfortable due to that and so I took him to this High Desert Animal Care Hospital and the doctor there didn't know what he was doing to my dog..He gave him a vaccination "Kennel Log" under the table and told me not to tell anyone outside..and charged me a lot of money for nothing been done..and I took my dog home and i could see the situation becoming worse n worse..I then took him again n asked for another doctor and this time this doctor just had some personal attitude problem and his nurse seems like to have some kind of weird skin disease and they both were very rude to me n my partner and told us to go somewhere else as then don't give a...(u know) just because we wanted to be with our dog and see what the doctor will do this time..
Oh man..! I just wish Good Luck to anyone that goes there in order for their pets Treatment/Cure..
THE WORST PLACE AS A VET..
THE DOCTORS ARE UNEDUCATED AND HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL..
THEY ALL RACIST AND HAVE SOME SORT OF ATTITUDE PROBLEM..
AT LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST..
IF YOU ACCIDENTLY OR OTHERWISE GO THERE PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR PET ALL THE TIME..
AS OUR PETS ARE OUR RESPONSIBILITY..MINE IS LIKE MY SON..N THEY ENDURE A LOT..!

this place has no compation at all, i though maybe i went in on a bad day and gave them a second and third chance and each time i was treated bad. find another place to take your pet. if you come to this clinic you'll see the doctor for 3 seconds and be left with more questions, and a huge bill.

THE VET'S ASSISTANCE TREVOR LIE TO ME BY GIVING WRONG PRICES AND I WAS SHOCK AFTER I SAW THE BILL.
THE ASSISTANCE EVEN SAY HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING TO ME OR MY HUSBAND OF COURSE MY HUSBAND WAS SO UPSET. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT TO SEE MY PUPPY COME BACK TO LIFE. THE PUPPY WAS WELL WORTH IT EVEN IF TREVOR DID LIE TO ME ABOUT THE PRICES.

I Had a little doxin named max he was very special to our family. He came down with parvo and this hosp took great care of him and us... lived to the great old age of 15. Also not bad with their rates either. Now all my animals go there.

We had a Collie/Shepherd mix and when we had to put her down after 2 strokes, this hospital was very compasionate and help very much. I would recomend them highly.
