I recently moved to the area and was in search of a new tanning salon. I noticed California Tan was right next to my gym and conveniently located in a shopping market on Midway, which is perfect for us multi-taskers! I've been going to tanning salons for years and am very critical of cleanliness when it comes to tanning facilities and this one is impecable. That alone can be the determining factor for me but it also has state-of-the-art beds, a variety of designer tanning lotions, great prices and an incredibly helpful and friendly staff... what more could you ask for?!!

I haven't been to a tanning salon in years and I was very pleased with my experience at California Tan. I was shown around the salon by a very knowledgeable and friendly staff member. She showed me all the different beds and explained the benefits and differences to each type of bed so that I could make the best choice for me. She answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable choosing the Magna bed. The salon was very clean and that's important. I took advantage of a special package for new customers and am very pleased with my tan. I am looking forward to trying the Mystic Tan booth and maybe the spray tanning option. I will recommend this salon to my friends and anyone looking for a great tan.

Awesome customer service!! I called to inquire about rates and bed types. Ashley was incredibly helpful and accomodating! I used to tan at Hollywood Tans...but after tanning here I will never go back. I tanned in the Level 2 bed about a week ago for the first time. I did not burn at all and I still have great color!!! I'm looking forward to trying out their other beds!

I had no idea there was such a great tanning salon right next door to my gym! I just moved to the area and started working out at 24 Hour fitness and decided to stop into California Tan which is right next door! I got an appointment right away and was shown to my tanning room. The girls working there were totally cool and friendly, not pretentious as is common in many salons. They had a great stereo system in the room, which made my session fly by and I am so pleased with the color I got! It was perfect, I got my work out in AND a tan! Definitely coming back and I recomend California Tan, ESPECIALLY if you work out right next door.

This is a good place to tan. The receptionist seemed a little too busy. Once I got in there though it was nothing but nice and relaxing. They also have some great products for sale.
