i LOVE their food! my favorite is their salt & pepper calamari and their hong kong style noodles. YUM! Prices are good and the food comes out pretty quick. The place is clean and they have a separate room available if you wanted to host a party. Cant wait to go back!

If you are looking for good food at great price - this is the place to go! My favorite is the Thai Rice Noodles. The spice is just right. The lunch specials are wonderful! Mounds of food! I always take food home - great as left overs too!

Truly the best Sacramento has to offer in Chinese cuisine! It is a must for family dinners---they give you huge portions and the food is fresh and delicious! I can usually feed a family of 10-12 people for around $120! Their walnut shrimp is the main reason why we go there, but every dish we've ordered is wonderful. The staff there is professional and prompt. You usually always see law enforcement personnel eating there on their lunch/dinner breaks and believe me, we law enforcement types know where to find the great grub! You will love it!

When I moved out of the neighborhood I thought I would find a good place to replace Mayflower in my area. NOPE! We now make special trips just go to down to Sacramento to get a big load of Chinese food. When we take asian friends or family there they are always greatly impressed with the food and the great prices. As another poster said, you will see most of the restaurant filled with Chinese folk. Their delivery guy is great too.

Pros: Great food, great prices

Cons: Not close enough to where I live

★★★★★

This restaurant is great. The flavors are excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The portions will surprise you as larger than most chinese restaurants. Real authentic, their egg foo yung is fantastic and the best hot and sour soup around.

Pros: large parking lot beside the restaurant and have never had touble finding a spot

Cons: one way street. plan your arrival. lol

I love this place! I agree with the other post, the orange chicken is delicious! Best I?ve ever had. The place is clean, prices are fair and the food is good. What more could you want!?

Pros: Great food, decent pricing

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid and this restaurant is easily one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants in Sacramento. The portions are very generous for the price and it is a great place to go with a larger group of people for good chinese food. I especially enjoy their orange spicy chicken. I have not found another place in town that has orange chicken like theirs. Their menu is bigger than most chinese restaurants I have been to and they offer a wide variety of Chinese delicacies.

The service has always been prompt and the hosts and servers have always been courteous. I don't think they deliver, but you can call in for pick-up as an option.

If I had to pick cons, the number one would be the ambience. I say that because it kind of looks like a hollowed-out office space with a few pictures on the wall. I think the same pictures have been on the wall since I went there as a kid over ten years ago, hehe. Every time we go in there I think I say that to the people I'm dining with "this place would be SO much better if there was more to the ambience." The tables of all sizes are plentiful, but they are spread out over an open plain without any divides, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a romantic evening. The parking is a bit awkward and their parking lot is in dire need of re-pavement, otherwise haven't had a trouble finding a spot.

Pros: Great Food, Good Service, Good Prices, Good for Groups

Cons: Lacking Ambience

I am, without a doubt, no stranger to Asian culture and food. That is why I am absolute in my resolve that Mayflower cooks some of the best "EASTERN" food around. The variety is large, they take creative liberty, spice usage is, in my opion, authentic to the region of Asia in which this food hails from (after all, there are many different types of Asian foods). I suggest their chow fun or Thai noodles...watch out though, ITS HOT (Literally)!

Pros: Great Food!!!

Cons: There might be a bit of a wait.

The food is very authentic, and it serves real Chinese food that we find it is better than some restaurants in the Bay Area. They have seafood dinner, and they did a very good job on the crab with vermicelli. We were very please, and will go back there again. GREAT FOOD!

This place serves the real deal...not PF Changs type chinese food, but the type when you walk in there the whole place is fillied with chinese people.

Excellent seafood and soups. Portions are large as well for a reasonable price

Pros: Food, Portions, Price
