That place is a rip-off!! They quoted me a price for a trade-in however when I sigend the contract I realized the trade-in price was not what they originally quoted. Scammers!! Stay away!

Great place, Great inventory of cars, great prices even but what i didnot like about the place was the fact that the Salesman was a high brow guy who just kept pestering us to make a decision immediately or the deal wont be there for us. Yeah right!!! We decided to go look elsewhere and he started passing comments and that he would like to sell the car and just doing his job.
PROS: Great inventory
CONS: Pestering Sales Manager

In 2004, we had two incidents with their Newark/Fremont branch. Once, we brought the car in for oil change, after everything was paid. We found someone else bill given to us. The second time, we brought in the Jetta because oil seemed keep getting low. Dropped off early morning, the place opened our car. The center was unable to give a diagnosis. We told them we would bring it somewhere else. The car was still opened up and not ready when we arrived later the afternoon. We wasted lots of time just to see them pack it up and couple hundred dollars just because they opened the car up.

I got a good deal on my car from Bob Lewis Volkswagen, but the experience was not exactly pleasant. A high-pressure salesman kept me waiting for eons at a time while he "checked" with his supervisor, and his patronizing attitude left much to be desired. Next time I buy a car, I'm doing it through the Internet.
