Pay no mind to the other reviews for this coffee shop. The bay area is full of top notch coffee shops and this is not one of them. The coffee is mediocre at best. Maybe on par with Starbucks.

I have been looking for a nice coffee to pick up on my way to work. I tried couple of cafes on the way to work and I am happy that I found something that I like and get the same taste every single day. I commute from el cerrito to oakland, and I make sure I stop by every morning to pick up a coffee from this place. By far the best with a warm milk waiting in the thermos. For $2.00 with a re-usable cup, you can get a large coffee. The owner seems to know everybody coming in although I don't live around the neighborhood. IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED IT - YOU MUST.

This place has the VERY bast coffee in Berkeley/Oakland. The owner is super nice and the deserts/ pastries are outstanding. Free Wi-fi. Not so great neighborhood, but whatever.
