After Hours Animal Hospital

I took my dog here. The receptionists did not seem knowledgeable at all. I DO NOT recommend them. You're better off going to your daily vet. It's a ripoff and a really long wait. I heard the animal technicians joke and goof off while my dog was in dire condition. Despite the good reviews below, you must consider how expensive the treatment is here in addition to the poor service you are getting. If you have an emergency, I would GO ELSEWHERE. I would never take my dog here again.

Hands down *the* best vet around. I used to drive 30 minutes just to go there and I would drive further if I had to. Dr. Trujillo cared for my cats for many years. He and his caring staff were very caring and understanding when it came time to say goodbye to my babies. You'll never find better care anywhere else. Highly recommended!!

I highly recommend this place! My dog needed surgery on his paw and had to stay overnight and even with all the services he needed the costs were very reasonable. Dr. Trujillo was very informative in explaining the problem and the surgery procedure as well. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and everyone seems to care about each pet taken in for care. I am very happy I found this doctor on the internet and for the reviews posted.

This is hands down the best Vet I've ever been to. The staff was very helpful and professional. The Vet took his time with my English bulldog Juicy and made sure I understood what was going on with my dog and gave me the feeling of relief that my dog would be just fine. From the moment I stepped in the door till the moment I left, I loved every minute of it. I was referred to this Vet by my neighbor who has been taking his dog Happy there for years, I'm glad I took his advice. After hours animal hospital is now my new vet.

Last week I had to have my cat of 15 years put to sleep. Dr T and the staff were wonderful, caring, kind and understanding. This a wonderful place to take your beloved pets and very reasonable in price as well.
You will not be sorry you visited the After Hours Animal Hospital. Five stars from me.

This is a small neighborhood clinic, but is able to treat a wide range of medical conditions. Top of the line medical equipment and Dr. Trujillo is very knowledgeable in his practice. He offers 5 star service for a very reasonable cost. Dr. T. is very honest and employs only the most experienced and professional staff. If you need a reliable, low cost, professional, caring, and well equipped Veterinarian, this is the place.

AFTER HOURS is an excellent place for your pets. The staff is very professional and Doctor Trujillo is a caring person who loves pets!

I took my dog "Max" who has a skin infection, and since the time he was there up to now his condition has improved a lot. Prices are reasonable and people there are warm and very friendly.

When my regular vet would not see any feral cats, I took him to the emergency hospital on Rosecrans so he could have a checkup before coming in with my other cats. As it turns out he was not feral but an abandoned 1 1/2 year old cat. I have ditched my old animal hospital (on firestone just on the other side of the 605 Fwy)...feral cats need care, too! But I needed a vet to get him fixed.

Well, as I refused to take him to be fixed to my vet, I took him to After Hours Animal Hospital. They are close by on Firestone in the Stater Brothers shopping center and their kindness to me and my cat was unsurpassed. I am going blind, cannot see at night, and a nice female employee carried my cat carrier out to the car for me, as it was dark (don't worry...I wasn't driving). I wish I could remember her name!

After Hour Animal Hospital will cat for all my pets from now on. They are wonderful and you just can't go wrong paying them a visit.

I have done cat rescue for many years, and I have never met more caring, competent and helpful people. They really care about the animals they treat. After Hours is the gold standard of Vet care.

Very professional/nice staff and caring veterinarians. Very affordable and negotiable. The people here are very empathetic when it comes to your pet and helpful at all times. Some of their veterinarians even volunteer at the local animal shelter. Just a real fantastic place!

Even though my puppy Sammy passed from Parvo, the staff and doctor were soo sympathetic to my loss and tried everything they could to make him better. The prices are the best in town and the doctor really takes the time to explain everything to you without giving you the runaround. He was extremely honest and I feel that he truly cares about the well being of the pets instead of just making money.
