Bought a kitchen island. Unpacked it and found no hardware. Called store and they implied it would be better if I dealt with Customer Service listed on Assembly Instructions. They have an 800 # and email address. Bought island Oct 25 2010. Called and lady very positive. Said she'd check around and have parts sent right away, might end up with 2 sets. Nothing. Called back Nov and they had no record. This time same old promises but got Ticket #. Nothing. Emailed and they replied it could take 6 weeks. In meantime they gave ME list of CA stores that might have parts. Well it's middle of January; I gave them 6 weeks. They responded if I didn't want to wait I could take item back before date on reciept, which was Jan 15, 2 days ago. I went to Home Depot, bought parts and put it together. Will not shop at Big Lots again.

This store was very disorganized also they play games with the merchandise. We had found a small granite table that we wanted to purchase for 15.00 dollars. After carrying it back and forth from the checker to the back of the store trying to find another like it,the lady working the back tells us not only that there is no more but we could not have the one we had found.I accually think someone working there wanted it. They should have put it in the storage room out of sight,if it was sold.I really did not like the way they dealt with the matter .They were very PETTY ABOUT THE WHOLE DEAL.

I used to shop at this store many times for pet supplies until the owner shouted to me across the store when I walked through the front door with my miniature pinsher. She shouted twice "No dogs allowed!" While I was turning out the door, she yells"No dogs allowed! Unless the dog has a vest on then it is allowed!" I got the hint but did she have to yell across the store for everyone to hear. I bought pet supplies in the past and wanted to buy one of those cat tents for my dog. I was going to explain to the manager if I could size up the cat tent for my dog but after being yelled and humiliated in front of the cashier and customers I felt like a second class citizen. I will never go to this Big Lots again. Her name was Liz K. the manager.

The Big Lots in Temecula is a step above some of the other Big Lots Ive been to. The staff is friendly and makes an effort to keep the store presentable which they accomplish quite admirably. The prices are low, like any Big Lots store, and they have a nice selection of products to choose from.

I love shopping here, when all other Big Lots are out of something, this store seems to have it. Great selection right next to a 99 Cent store which makes it even more appealing. This store is clean, the people are friendly and the inventory is excellent. The parking can be tough as this is a huge shopping center with many stores but it is worth the time.
PROS: Great inventory
CONS: parking can be tough
