Icing On The Cake

Anything that they make with pumpkin is wonderful, but during the fall and winter months they also make pumpkin pie bars. Flavorful, spiced pumpkin pie filling is baked onto a rich shortbread crust. Each square is an indulgent taste of pumpkin heaven. Also not to be missed is their pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting.

While I have never had the discipline to order anything in advance from Icing on the Cake, I must admit that everything I have ever bought there has been divine. Whether it is one of their delicious cakes or a few of the wonderful soft, frosted cookies - Icing On The Cake is our family's favorite local bakery.

This wonderful bakery has the best cakes and cookies in the Silicon Valley. I LOVE this place. They are expensive, but worth the price for their fabulous treats. If you have a special occasion coming up, this is the place to buy your special treat! There are many to choose from, and I haven't had anything here that was less than incredible!

I'm sure the cakes are great but their customer service isn't...I called to find out pricing and such - they told me they stopped taking orders for artwork on cakes - 3 days before I needed the cake (okay, a plain cake, I could deal with that) but the price still was $50.00 for 1/3 cake??!! when I told her I'd have to call back in 5 minutes, she told me "you need to call back right away as we might even decide not to take any more orders for the weekend." Isn't 5 minutes right away??!!
Oh well, many more bakeries in town.

Icing on the cake makes the most amazing cakes. Their detailed decorations and incredible. We ordered a cake for an employee's retirement party and told them that he once crashed a tractor into a roller. With frosting they depicted that scene on the cake. It looked so real! And their cakes are delicious.

Our whole family is addicted -- this is the best place for birthday cakes. Chocolate with chocolate frosting is the all time favorite, but strawberry with whipped cream (available in the summer) and banana are close seconds. The cupcakes are also extremely yummy, and everything is decorated and presented so well. Service is top notch -- they once called me on a Sunday to remind me that they closed early so that I'd be sure to pick up my cake in time. There is parking behind the store which makes pick up easy.

this is the best place to buy a birthday cake. They have a huge selection of designs. The cake tastes amazing, nothing like those cake from the grocery store. They also sell a fabulous pumpkin cake (by the slice), you can't resist buying it. The store is immaculate and the staff are great, very friendly. You need to order decorated cakes well in advance, but they're worth planning ahead for.
