Wonder Food Bakery

There is usually a line out the door at Wonder Bakery. People wait in line for their giant, freshly baked almond cookies, tender egg custard pastry tarts and wonderful fresh strawberry cakes covered in freshly whipped cream. All of the desserts you find on the dim sum carts are available here along with unusual items such as sweet bean filled dumplings and honeydew melon pies. A wonderful bakery and so inexpensive!

PROS: Delicious, unusual pastries and cookies, inexpensive too
CONS: parking is a challenge and Chinatown can be very crowded
