Dr. Lawrence is the best! My pet Tegu (large Lizard) Charlie was sick and Dr. Lawrence didn't give up on him. She tried different antibiotics and nebulizer treatments for his lungs and different diets! She knows her exotic pets!!! If you take your animals to Santa Clara Pet Hosp - they are in the best hands. I am a regular client at Santa Clara and I have to say that no matter which doctor takes care of my very large mastiff, that without the front staff, Lauren, Andrea, Julie, and Rachel that I would most likely go elsewhere as the prices are a little higher than other clinic's in the area, but they make the overall experience very easy, low stress for both myself and my puppy.I do recommend this hospital to others, the staff make the difference.

Dr. Jennifer Lawrence has been taking care of our cats for years, and she's just the best. The staff (and Newman, the mascot) are always friendly and helpful. We look forward to going there. Even my cats like Dr. Lawrence! She is gentle and thorough with each one. I like that she's open minded and willing to discuss holistic treatments, as well as standard ones. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Jennifer Lawrence has been seeing all my cats (Sheffield, Baby, Nordie and Shorty) since 2002. She is an absolute peach with them - and us! She obviously adores animals, handling each one carefully and lovingly. Dr. Lawrence is always cheerful, and doesn't try to "upsell" you on things. She strikes a good balance between excellent vet care, and letting nature take care of things, too.
Once, regarding a sore on Nordie's chin, she said "Nordie gets so much love at home that I'm sure this will heal up in no time." I think that says it all.

I have been to several vets and have never been treated with the loving care that Santa Clara Pet Hospital gave me. The Staff is very knowledgeable and caring and friendly. They treat my pets as if they are there own animals. I wish I found this place years ago.

When we first started boarding our bunny at the Santa Clara Pet Hospital a couple of years back, they took good care of him. However, its been going downhill. They started feeding him "snacks" that we did not provide (this could upset any animal's regular diet). During his last stay, our rabbit's litter was not replaced in his cage. They put one newspaper page in his cage instead. They also didn't put his litter box back in the right corner. Poor little guy is now confused about which corner to go in. He was only there over a long weekend. I was told that it was "too much trouble" to use the litter I provided. We will never come back.

I have moved to California recently. My older schnauzer had a stroke on 3/13/07,He could not walk or move much. We brought him to Santa Clara Pet Hospital.
My husband gently placed our good old buddy on the counter in the exam room.
Dr. Kent Littlehale entered the room didn't ask any questions or acknowledge that we were even in the room. He then grabbed our dog by the scruff of his neck and lifted him up took a look at him and then dumped him back on the table like a sack of potatoes.
I objected to the rough handling of our beloved pet and was told by him that our dog may die and we should take him some where else because he did not want to take care of the dog because if I was objecting to his methods. What an perdiciment to put us in. What a mean and unfeeling man!
We requested another doctor there and got Dr. Jennifer Lawrence to attend our dog. She was nice and treated our dog humanely.
Today we took our dog to another clinic and are waiting for test results to see if our best friend is going to make it.
I want to warn anyone who goes to the Santa Clara Pet Hospital to steer clear of Kent Littlehale.

This Animal Hospital offers kennel care that includes dogs with special needs. Even though our dog has trouble walking, they had no trouble taking care of him in the kennel. The cost for the kennel was very reasonable, and the staff was very friendly and organized.
