Giorgio's Italian Food & Pizzeria - Milpitas Lively chatter and the aroma of garlic are the first things you notice when you walk in the door of Giorgio's Italian Food & Pizzeria. The interior is warm, friendly, and classically "Italian" (complete with red-checkered tablecloths). It is perfect for romantic couples, as well as the entire family. The restaurant has an open kitchen, where patrons can watch the cooks "hand toss" the pizza dough and prepare entire meals. Giorgio's has become the pizza "mecca" of the South Bay area. Don't look for yuppie pizza here. We feature authentic Italian pie that can be topped with your choice of items or one of the house combos.

Giorgio's Italian Food  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Giorgio's has got to be one of the top Italian restaurants in Milpitas. All their food is absolutely delicious, especially the lasagna! Their staff are always pleasant and happy to serve you. The price is competititve and the ambiance is great!

yummy Italian!  4 Star Rating - Very good

This restaurant is nice. Nice location, nice ambiance. And VERY good food! The service is great and the waiters/waitresses are always happy and on the go. Fast service, but good service. They also have take out in case you don't want to eat at the restaurant.

Good Calzone, decent pasta 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Giorgio's is a family style Italian restaurant, casual waiters, picnic style tablecloths, lots of loud kids at night. The calzone is really good, a little too bready and a litlle skimpy with the cheese, but the sauce is good. Chicken parm was disappointing, the portion was huge but the whole dish lacked flavor. The pasta doesn't taste very fresh, olive gardenesque. I reccomend it forf the calzone. The pizza looks good but I haven't tried it yet.

Pros: calzone
Cons: pasta, noise

Could not even get seated 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I wish I could have eaten here. I went here for lunch with my wife on a Wednesday, arrived at 12:30pm, walked in and the place was moderately empty. About half of the tables were occupied. Quick seating right? Nope. We waited patiently in front of the "Please wait to be seated" sign, no host/hostess showed up, none of the waiters even looked in our direction. The only attention we received were occassional looks from the patrons seated near by probably wondering how long it was going to take us to turn around and leave: 10 minutes. The food might be great, but I can't offer my opinion on that since I couldn't even get a table.

Pros: The place looked nice
Cons: half of the tables open, couldn't get seated

Great Family Italian Resturant 5 Star Rating - World class

Giorgio's is the last of a dying breed of Great Family Italian Resturant. With places like Olive Garden and Spegetti Factory considered the family italian resturant, Griorgio's is a breath of fresh air (or should I say old air?). The food quality here is superb and done the way Grandma would have cooked it and the prices are extremely reasonable. I've brought many family and friends to Giorgio's and they all had nothing but great things to say about the food Giorgios. They have a variety of plates that will satisfy most people whether its meat, seafood, or pasta, and the pizza here is the best in the Bay Area. If you are looking for a great italian family resturant the way it should be, Giorgio's is the place to come.

Pros: Great Fresh Food, Excellent Pizza, Great Prices
Cons: NONE

YUMMY!!! 5 Star Rating - World class

I love their bread & special butter that they serve you before your food comes. My favorite is their Rigatoni e Spinaci -- it's light, but it fills you up! ALL their pizzas are great!

The only bad thing I can say is that I wish they'd open up a restaurant in Fremont, so I don't have to drive all the way to Milpitas. : )

Pros: plenty of parking

AUTHENTIC - bellissimo !! 5 Star Rating - World class

I *love* this place. It's the only restaurant I have found in the area that makes tomato sauce the way it SHOULD be (ie. the way I make it from scratch at home). Nice chunks of garlic and lots of seasonings. They are also very accomodating to special requests. It's in the plaza with the Red Lobster and Mervyns, you might have to look hard for it. But it's worth it !!

Pros: Excellent food
Cons: A little pricy
