Ambala Dhaba has a nice straw hut themed interior (it will make sense when you see it), nice wrought-iron tables (and some booths, I think), and lowish lighting with candles on the tables, making it a nice place to take a date, especially if you are a college student on a budget at UCLA. The downside is that the portions are on the small side, rice costs extra, and the food isn't that impressive. If you are not a hard-core Indian food junkie like me though, you will probably be quite satisfied with the food.
