Hicklebee's gives the best selection and customer service!!! The store is filled with nooks and crannies for children to sit and curl up with a book. It is a relatively small space and they herded us through, so I didn't get a good look at everything, but it appears they have a good selection. What I did get a feel for is that the employees know their stuff. The one thing that did disappoint is that they didn't anticipate the demand for the books by the author. I think he was mainly there to promote his new book and that sold out quickly, but they were still allowing us to buy a different Eric Carle book to be signed. It's not like Eric Carle's a new author and his books aren't classics - they ended up having him sign book plates to be put on books you could order, definitely not the same for a small child who wanted to leave with a book.
