I've used Apollo for pool repairs and periodic pool cleaning for many years and have always received prompt, courteous and skillful service. I strongly recommend this company.

Avoid this pool company at all costs. The worst service I have ever experienced. We stopped using them a 2 months ago and are still suffering with the fallout from their negligence and poor workmanship. BEWARE.

Pros: They're bound to go out of business soon

I had a Pentair pool heater not work. I called Pentair and they had Pepe from Apollo pools contact me. He came out to look at the problem and then had to schedule another date to come back with parts for what he thought the problem was for the heater. He came back a week later and supposedly fixed it, but said we needed to replace a valve on the gas line. He said if that didn't work, then to call him and he would cme back to look at it. We replaced the valve and the heater still didn't work correctly. I called him back and it has been 4 weeks now of constant calling to try and get him back out here. He won't even return my calls and the manager is extremely unhelpful and keeps telling me he has told Pepe to call. This an awlful company with no customer service. Do not call them if you need something done.

I had a Hayward heater fan go out on me, so I contacted Hayward for a service technician in Beverly Hills. A week after calling Apollo pools, I met Pepe at my clients pool. His truck was dirty and filled with clothes, as if he were living out of it. With broken English, he asked to drive onto the gated property because he didn't want to carry his tools. I said OK, but that I usually park on the street since the pool equipment is only 150' from the street and the driveway is a little difficult to negotiate. He drove on the property, diagnosed the problem and then told me he would have to come back another time with the parts. We agreed to meet the following day at 9:15am. He then attempted to back up the driveway while I opened the gate and guided him. While reversing, he ignored my directions and continued to grind his passenger-side rear wheel against an 8' step leading into the courtyard. The accident left a 6' black scuff mark. I asked him why he ignored my directions and he just shook his head and said "Next time I will park on street" and then drove off.
The next day, we spoke on the phone and I told him I would be 15 minutes late due to unusually heavy traffic coming over Beverly Glen. When I arrived he attempted to pull up the driveway. I asked to please park on the street because of mark he left the day before. I told him I would help him carry anything he needed to the pool. (New fan, screwdriver, and a wrench) He said "No! I only handle my tools!" and then drove off. I was shocked when he didn't turn around to park. I tried to call him, but he wouldn't answer his cell phone. He never came back and never returned my call. I have no idea how someone like that stays in business.
