Children's Village-South Coast

After going through several schools with my son, we finally found South Coast Metro Childrens Village 2 years ago. At other schools, I was used to dropping my crying son off in the morning, only to worry about him all day. When I would pick him up he would cry and beg me not to take him back to school. Since finding Childrens Village that has all changed now. There are some mornings he drags me out the door, chatting cheerfully about all the things he was learning, friendships he has made, and teachers who he trully loved. The staff at Childrens village are kind, experienced, happy, and fun. My son had picked up bad habits from the other care centers he was at, where there was no structure, discipline or personal attention, and it was negatively affecting his young developing personality. He had trouble sitting still when required, following directions when asked to do something once, didn't want to share, and even had pronunciation problems. His teachers recognized his strengths, and made them stronger, and through careful guidance from his teachers and assistants, they worked with him on his weaknesses. I am truly blessesd with the one on one attention my son recieves, he has FLOURISHED here. He is a new little boy with how well he obeys, cares for others and is shown how to be a leader by doing the right things. The children rotate jobs in the class... I 'll never forget the time after school he proudly told me he was assigned the peacemaker that day. For once, not the troublemaker! ;) I am planning on keeping him here as long as possible, he begins kindergarten at Childrens Village this year! I will commute for this school, I trust my son in the hands of the staff thouroughly here, and I encourage you with my whole heart to have your child experience the benefits this school has to offer. They always take the time to chat with you when you walk in the door, sharing funny stories about something your child has said and keeping you up to date on what they have been up to all day. They show you they really care about your child. You will rest easy knowing that aside from home with you, they are in the best place possible.

I have both of my children attending this school. They absolutely love waking up in the morning to go to school!!!I believe there is always going to b something you may not care for when someone else is watching your children if you think negatively. I would much rather keep them with me and teach them on my own but since I can't I searched for the best of the best !!!I found Children's Village after searching near & far...They care for my children and they communicate with me. The negative thinking isn't for me I talk with my children and I know what Love they have for their teachers and friends & that is what I go by. How happy content and the smiles on their faces. That is all you really need to know. Beside that I have dropped in unannounced and have nothing negative to report. Barbara and the staff are great and I love their school!!! I became a teacher here after a while and I saw things parents wouldn't be able to see. They love the teachers have for their students. How the children learn so much and just absorb it all. They way my kids were treated : just like all the others and how all the children were happy to b here!

My two kid's go there after school. I love it, they love it! It's wonderful. I love the walls, they're painted Disney themed. I can't imagine a better place to take my kids... I truely trust them. The staff is great!

This is the BEST school you could have your children's in.The teachers they are so caring with the childresn's and verry welcoming to the parent's. I have had my kids since there for a while and I have never had a proble with the. They are also get involed wit the children's when they play. YES I would recommend this school to my friends.As you walking around the school you might think you're in Disneyland they seem to have alot of painting, frames,dreawings of alll kinds of Disney Chartres.

The teachers do NOT interact w/the kids in the playground at ALL. Left kids all alone, don't care if the kid is thirsty, cries, fall, dirty or hungry.

PROS: Teacher need to involve w/kids inside & outside of class regardless.
CONS: Parents need to drop in unexcepted more often different time & check it out

I HAVE A KID WHO IS FEELS LONELY DUE TO LACK OF FRIENDS AROUND MY HOUSE.SO I USED TO PLAY WITH HIM .DUE TO THIS EVEN WE WENT FOR PARTIES ALSO HE IS ALLWAYS AROUND ME ONLY & IS NOT PLAYING WITH OTHER KIDS.SO WE TAUGHT TO JOIN SOME KINDERGARDEN TYPE SCHOOL SO THAT HE CAN ADJUST WITH OTHER KIDS.MY FRIEND SUGGESTED THIS SCHOOL SO WE JOINED HIM.NOW I FEEL VERY HAPPY BECAUSE HE IS PLAYING WITH OTHER KIDS & ALSO LEARNING SOME GOOD WORDS & EXPLAINING TO US WHAT HAPPENED AT SCHOOL

PROS: THE TEACHERS & TEACHING IS EXCELLENT
CONS: HAVE MORE BRANCHES

Children's Village is located near the 55 frwy in Santa Ana. It's located inside a business park, so it's convient to drop off the children. It's a big preschool, yet it's very clean. The yard is huge and filled with slides and swings.
