I purchased a used car (Honda CR-V) from a local dealer that had almost 200K miles, but was in excellent shape. The spare matched the four other tires, but had never been used. So, I decided to take it in to Big Brand in Ventura (where I take all my business) for a rotation, and asked if they would also check the suspension and brakes to see if anything was worn. I signed the estimate for $30, for 1) a tire rotation, 2) an inspection, and 3) a road test. They found nothing wrong and wouldn't charge me anything. Customer service is unrivaled at this shop.
A nail was stuck in my tire. From the time I arrived (greeted with a smile) the time to take the nail out & inspect the other tires and leave was a total of 20 minutes. And the best part, it was "FREE!" This store location is rated "Outstanding, Awesome, with Excellent customer service."
Big Brand is the best ever. Good pricing, awesome service, the computer room is a good way to pass the time. Anyone with 1/2 a brain would know that auto repair takes time, if you want fast food Mickey D's is just down the street.
This place is by far one of the best! Only place I can send my wife and family in knowing they will be taken care of. They are busy. After every visit, I realize why. And they are open on Sunday! Great knowledgable, service is hard to find. These guys got it!

Big Brand Tire in Ventura will ignore it's customers while they are busy talking on their cells to their buddies. I saw the mechanic drive my car to the front, hand the keys and paperwork to the front desk clerk and never even bother to mention to me that my car was ready. They just ignored me and made me wait there. They were not helping anyone at the time. I think it is a POWER TRIP to see how long they can make you wait. When I did go up and mention about my car being parked in the front ready to go, they acted like I was bothering them. I interrupted their play time.
This USED to be a great place as I spent big money on new Michillin Tires and had other services done there, But, never again!!
And if you do fill out the PHONY survey they give you with your reciept...THEY DO NOT RESPOND!!!!!
This is not the first and only time this has happened. I heard the same story from a family member and a friend.
So, if you have ALL Day and like to be IGNORED THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!!
This is the place to get you're tires. The prices are reasonable, the service is professional and friendly. I usually don't have to wait a long time unless they are very busy. I usually walk to Target close by and get some excercise while waiting.

Cons: IGNORES PAYING CUSTOMERS.......RUDE!!!!!
The service was good but the tires started getting defects after 12 months to the day. this happened on a Sunday, when Big Brand is not open so definitely not convenient. I went to Sears because they are open 7 days a week and the prices ranged enough so you could spend what you want. I wouldn't try Big Brand again.
