Borders Books & Music

this place is great for the entire family beacuse there are books of all sorts for all ages. There is even music and a small cafe where you can relax.

This bookstore is great for the whole family. There is a section for everyone. The magazine department is downstairs and I was able to find imported magazines from Europe that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. The children's section is large and inviting it has a platform where children can sit and read books. It also has a large music section and a coffee shop. The staff is friendly and helpful in finding any books you may be looking for.

If you are looking for a quiet place to hang out Borders is the place to do it. First off, it is located on prime real estate on Town Center Drive in the heart of Valencia. If you need to pass some time before your movie at Edwards starts you can go in an read a bit and get something to drink. It is relaxing and they have a great kids area.

PROS: Family friendly and in an excellent location
CONS: Because of the good location it can be a little busy at times

They have a section upstairs towards the back just for kids. There is a place to sit and read. They have stuffed animals for the little kids to play with. Lots and Lots of kids books to pick out and read while mom and dad find their books. They also have a coffee place downstairs to get snacks at. We had a lot of fun.

Great place with a wide selection. seems bigger than Barnes and Noble because its two stories high. With a large music selection too. Amazing prices!!

This particular Border's Books has the same basic set-up as other such stores, with the exception that this store seems to have more available for children and yound adults. It is a two-store building, with cds, dvds, locacted on the second floor. It is on the second floor that you will find a wide selection of materials for children, along with a reading/experience area where children can peruse books, magazines, etc. This is a nice feature, and I've been to several other Border's that don't have this. Decent musical selection, but if you want music, go to the Border's in Westwood.

Borders is great because they always host an event. They host music events or book signings and also have book readings for children. You can even find and join a book club at Borders. The selections of books and music is wonderful. I can always findsomething at Borders I would like to have.

This book store is full of bargains and lots of good books and music. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to browse. The childrens section upstairs, has a wonderful little "stage" area for sitting and listening to story time. The childrens book selections are good but they are lacking in books in spanish or even bi-lingual childrens books. I couldn't find other languages represented either. Time for Borders to realize Southern Californians speak more than English. Nice little cafe area downstairs. Staff is friendly and helpful and will special order books for you.
