Mandarin Gourmet Restaurant

This is the first place when you cant eat everything from the menu and all is really good and great flavor, a little to dark for me but work great some times.

They need to clean or change the carpet look to old and dirty.

I love all three of Mandarin Gourment's restaurants. Favorites include their hot and sour soup as well as their Peking Duck. I find their Peking Duck to be just as good as those hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants. Their ambiance is very nice and they have friendly staff/waiters.

We enjoy the food very much, always seems fresh and have never had a bad experience here. It's always ready for pickup in 15 mins :) and it takes about that long to get there.

Fast and friendly staff when we eat there too.

The dishes can be a little expensive for Chinese food, but it's worth it.

PROS: Good food
CONS: Tad bit expensive.

Yuk! This place doesn't hold a candle to the original Mandarin Gourmet in Palo Alto. The restaurants have the same menu and the same price but the food is completely different. This is the greasiest Chinese food I have ever had.

This has been our favorite Chinese restaurant for about 13 years. The decor is nice...white table cloths and pretty flower arrangements. The hosts/hostesses are always very friendly.

Excellent food! Typical Chinese menu but that is OK because it all tastes good. They make the best honey walnut prawns I've ever had anywhere.

I imagine if I were to go to China, the food would taste just like the Gourmet. I love everything I have tried there, but you have got to try the Mu Shu Pork. The place can get busy around dinnertime because it is popular, so go early if you can.

The Mandarin Gourmet is a nice mix of authentic Chinese food and American Chinese food. There is something on the menu for everyone. They have a nice group room you can reserve for larger groups. The service is prompt and they have fixed any problems with the order.
