I have had a great experience at this beauty school. Very pleased with the hair color & hair cut I received from Lisette. For being a student, Lisette cuts and colors hair like a professional. I have had my hair long for many many years and Lisette cut my hair short (at least for me), and my husband and daughters really like my new haircut and style.

I typically do not like to try salons/stylists which have not been referred by someone I personally know, but after holding onto a gift certificate for Salon Papillon for more than a year, I decided to try it. Not only did Jila truly listen to me, but she cared about doing beautiful work. For years my hair was the same, and I didn't risk changing it on the first visit. After a few cuts and color, I decided to go for a drastic style change. Jila offered her ideas and I put my trust in her. She is incredibly meticulous and I have never been disappointed. She has always made me feel beautiful, both because of her stellar work and her lovely heart!

Karin is the best hairdresser I've ever had! I am very particular about my hair and Karin is professional, talented and has the perfect balance between listening to what I want and giving me her honest opinion. She has taught me how to style my hair and use the right products so that I could grow my hair long for the first time in my life. She also does a great job on coloring my hair. I always feel she wants what's best for me - she is never pushy. I never have to wait for her either - she is always on schedule. The salon is very comfortable and stylish. I highly recommend her.

Myself being in the public eye when I walk in somewhere with a idea of what I want to look like when I leave. It has to be pretty close if not perfect. I was lucky enough to have Jilla and kelly work on my hair/ makeup before a published photo shoot. I looked amazing. I competed in a national/international beauty pageant. WOW!!! I looked great! Thanks Jilla for making me look my best. I still go here!

Kelli is a young stylist with lots of new ideas and a refreshing attitude, and is one of those stylists that really listens to your requests. I feel like I have a friend not just a hair dresser in Kelli, and trust her implicitly with my hair. She knows it well and always does something smart, classy and tasteful...not to mention is on the cutting edge of style, this girl is worth my hour and a half drive!

This was my first visit to Salon Papillon. Kelli was personable and so, so, so nice. We discussed some ideas and she really listened. The shampoo made me feel like I was at a high-end spa... sooo relaxing. She spent a good deal of time getting my layers just right and framing my head and face with a really sharp cut. I am very pleased. I had high standards too, I just moved to the area and had previously used the same stylist for nearly 10 years. Those were some big shoes to fill and Kelli did it with ease!

i went to Salon Papillon a few months ago and had my hair cut by Kelli. Not only did she do a great job on my haircut, she anticipated my needs and gave great guest service. I usually don't really enjoy to spend time in a salon, but Kelli made it personable and fun. I highly recommend any guy or anyone to go to Salon Papillon to see Kelli.

I've gone to Kelli at Salon Papillon a few times now for cut & color, and I'm always very pleased with her work. She listens to me, offers her professional advice, and ultimately leaves me feeling beautiful and trendy. I've had a few people stop me in public to ask who does my hair! Who doesn't love that?

I have had many stylists in the past, but Kelli is my favorite. I always feel at ease and love her suggestions. My color and cut turned out amazing, and that says a lot with my funky, curly, unruly hair!! She loves what she does, and it shows. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist. I totally look forward to my next visit!

I went to see Kelli at Salon Paillon and she gave me the best haircut and color I've ever had done. I saw the other girl that she did on my way in and it looked great. Seems like she's a really consistent stylist with great taste/style and even better execution. I'd recommend her highly.

Karen is wonderful. She is so professional, and will always listen to me (which has not been my experience at other salons in the past ).. Her color techniques are the best! I have never had to wait for Karen..she is always there waiting for me! I recommend her to all my friends, and am so glad I found her.
Also-salon is very relaxing and "low key"..which I love.

This is a nice salon with a friendly staff, but unfortunately, I will not return. I was at the salon several months ago and got at least 2-3 inches (no exaggeration) more hair cut off than I wanted. Jila is talented and very friendly, but went with what she thought would look best rather than what I requested. I hate to give a negative review, but it is going to be several more months before my hair grows back to where it was. I also had to wait 10 minutes during my haircut for her to ring up a customer who came into the store to purchase product.

I decided to try this salon based on the great reviews on this site, as I'm very timid from a previous bad experience by another salon (chemicals burned the scalp - almost 2 years ago). I've had my hair colored exactly 15 years now with only 1 bad experience.

Unfortunately, Papillon with Jila is now my 2nd...and hopefully last. My overall haircolor was unnatural looking with the sides in chunks... spaced about an inch from the scalp. I informed her well in advance how I wanted it to look- natural. My hair is very important to me, and I felt so humiliated with the end results. Furthermore, I never paid more than 80$ for my hair; for the same partial highlights. Usually averages 60-65$. She charged 130$ plus an additional 40$ if I wanted to fix the color. I paid the 130$ and cried when I walked out. I sensed Jila was primarily happy that she still recieved payment and avoided any fault. This has been the worst customer service experience of my life.

Thank god for my former hairdresser whom I've gone with for a few months now. That same night, she fixed my haircolor free of charge. The people at her salon agree they could not believe Jila let me walk out of the salon that way. This a 130$ lesson well learned and I will no longer try other salons. I hope others who decide to try Papillon are given a far better experience.

I must say that if you are looking for a relaxed place to get your hair done, then this is the place!! Karin has been coloring and cutting my hair now for 2 years and she is awesome!! My color has never been better and she always takes the time to ensure happiness!! Her cut is wonderful and her drying skills are one of the best I have seen!! The salon is nice in that it is not loud and crazy, but such a relaxed and peaceful environment!! I always leave there feeling so much better than when I arrived due to Karin's transformation abilities!!

My name is Eric and I am a 33 Year old business man. Jade has been cutting my hair for 5 years now in Denver at Raul's Salon and now at Salon Papillon in Corona Del Mar.. She has the best mens cut i have ever had and it grows in so it looks good for a while and not just when i leave ; she's got great style too. The salon is great and Jila the owner is awesome and makes the place feel very comfortable. Ive never had a problem with parking and Jade is always willing to take a business client on the fly. Also, does womens hair but i dont have a testimonial about that....

Papillon is the best beauty salon any where......
I found the art of creating beauty in Jila's hands,she has the knowledge, experience and talent of a
successful artist. She has chosen the best hair stylists,estheticians and make up artists for her salon.
There are many beauty salons in the neighborhood, but Papillon Beauty Salon is glowing like a gorgeous
diamond between all the other salons, and that is because of a warm and friendly atmosphere, a very nice
interior design and the most important reputation is for the satisfied clients who can see themselves in
the best and beautiful look of their life.
I highly recommend this beauty salon to every body with high expectations.

Helen has been my stylist for over five years; I could not live without her. Helen is incredibly talented, educated, and is very knowledgeable about her craft. I can always count on her to give me a cut and beautiful blonde color that is shiny, bright, and healthy looking. Helen also has created for me natural looking hair extensions for those nights that I want to add a little length. I feel like a million bucks leaving the salon each and every time!

I am Nasim and I am a customer of salon Papillon.I do most of my hair treatments at salon Papillon. I am truly satisfied with their service especially Jila who's work is amazing. I colored my hair again about 2 weeks ago, and so far, I recieved a lot of complement about it .Likewise I believe it is beautiful and I am very excited. last year Jila Sobhani (the owner) colored my hair and it was so beautiful that she suggested that I become a model for salon Papillon. I became a hair model for Salon Papillon and my pictures were in the magazin at different issues in the city of Corona Del Mar. I love salon Papillon, Jila's work and Salon's customer service. I highly recommend Jila as the best hair treatment specialist and appreciate and grateful about her beautiful job.

I first read about the salon on city search to get ready for a big change to my current hair style and color. I called and talked to Helen about what I wanted to do and she made me feel very comfortable even on the phone. When I got there, she walked me through everything again for as long as I needed. She was so patient with me as I asked a lot of questions and she made me feel very much at ease. I walked out of the salon feeling great with a brand new cut and color. I went to a meeting later that week and got so many compliments. I would highly recommend the salon and Helen for her great work. I'll be going back and recommending many others to do the same.

Karin at Salon Pappillon is a gem. No matter my mood, I always leave the salon feeling uplifted and beautiful. She has a gift for bringing out the best in every style (short or long). I have baby fine, straight hair and her cuts afford me volume, flexibility and great looks. Her styles fit my lifestyle. Whether I'm feeling high or low maintenance, I can manage my hair weeks after the salon visit. As I travel frequently, I'm always greeted with great compliments on my hair, and I pleased to tell them the artist is Karin.

I just moved to Corona del Mar two months ago and found Salon Papillon from the Kerastase website. What a find! Not only do I love the hard-to-find Kerastase product, I was so happy to have found Jila, the salon owner, who has amazing talent. Kari has been doing my hair for 3 years. She is an amazing hairstylist with a lot of positive energy. If you are having a rough day, believe you will be feeling wonderfully refreshed when you leave. She gives amazing massages during your shampoo and conditioning, that's my favorite part. Just the fact that she takes the extra time to make her clients feel comfortable and relaxed makes a huge difference. She has done several different styles and natural looking color patterns on me and I've loved every one of them. She has an eye for what looks great on you, which is great when you're looking for a change. I am also a huge fan of the Kerastase products in the salon, which Kari introduced to me, it has done wonders for my hard to manage hair. The salon has such a relaxing, yet exotic feel to it and it feels great to be in the hands of such anamazing stylist.

When I first walked in to Salon Papillon and was greeted by my stylist, Karin, I knew that I was going to leave happy with my hair looking great. Whenever I come to her, I know that I can trust her with whatever we decide to do. What truly makes me feel comfortable with my experience is the fact that we both discuss what she is going to do and I feel that she puts in all her effort to leave me with amazing results. In all my years of getting my hair done, I have yet to meet someone with the amount of passion that Karin demonstrates for working with hair. Not only is she a wonderful hairstylist, but she also is very welcoming and easy to talk to.

I've been to many salons in Orange County, and this is by far my favorite. My stylist was Jila, who is the salon owner. As soon as I walked it, my nerves were put at ease by the warmth of the salon and its atmosphere. Jila has a very friendly smile and offered me coffee as we discussed my hair. We went over what I wanted and she gave me advice on what would look best for me. The style was perfect and I fell in love! I have gotten lots of compliments and months later, it still looks great! The salon itself is very chic and inviting, the staff is very friendly, and they carry only the best products. I left the salon with a bag full of Keratase goodies to re-create the look Jila gave me on my own at home. I have recommended Jila and her salon to two of my friends who had nothing but rave reviews.

We just recently moved to Newport Beach and I was needing to find a great salon. I happened upon Salon Papillon. From the moment I called to make an appointment, I knew this was the best place. Jila, the salon owner, was very friendly. At my first appointment, she took the time to find out what I liked, didn't like, and what I was willing to try. That is very important to me. Ever since, she has been wonderful and she has wonderful products, Kerastase, to offer too. I have already gotten two friends to go there as well. We all love Jila and Salon Papillon.

Helen has been my stylist for nearly ten years. She is incredibly talented, professional, and truly a genuine person who cares about her clients. I must admit I was a bit apprehensive when she first informed me that she was moving to Salon Papillon. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how warm and inviting the salon was, while maintaining a hip environment. They also offer a wide variety of quality products, including my favorite, Keratase. Bottom line, I would follow Helen anywhere because I always look and feel fantastic when I walk out of her salon.

From the moment i walked in, i knew my hair was in great hands. Jila, the salon owner, welcomed me and offered me a beverage and some fruit. I sat on her chair where we discussed what i want and what she thought would look good, and finally deciding on a look that i absolutely fell in love with. From impeccable service to world renowned products such as Kerastase, Loreal, and Epicuren, Salon Papillon is a professional salon working with experts in the hair industry. A mid-sized salon, located in the heart of Corona Del Mar on Pacific Coast Highway, I have only experienced the best service of all Salons here.

Salon Papillon is a darling salon, with beautiful faces and warm smiles that makes me want to go there every day! I had my hair cut and colored by Helen, whom is a fabulous hair stylist who not only gave me an awesome haircut but educated me with easy ways to style my hair on a daily routine.
