Dez TOTALLY fixed my eyebrows! I have eyebrow phobia!! Dez assured me she would not let me down about my brow shape and she was totally right!! I always get really scared when I am getting my eyebrows waxed.. Fear of disappearing brows.... ok, so she has totally been talking me into correcting the shape.. and you know what.. I do look younger and my eyes are way more pronounced.... YAY DEZ! fast and painless!

I love this place!! Matty and Dez are super awesome! Iget the Oxygen AND Collagen (which is their signature) facial from both ladies. WOW! My skin has really cleared up and my face is soooo refreshed and rosy! I get compliments every where I go! They use super great and affordable products, I use Matty's line and Juvena which both give my complexion a dewey look without being greasy! .. I will keep coming back to these nurturing gals!

This place is great. I got the best eyebrow wax ever not to mention a stellar facial. My skin was so soft and smooth when I left there and it glowed for over a week after. My eyebrows look amazing too!! I highly recommend this place for facials and waxing!

Mayra at Matty?s Skin Care on 3rd street is the best waxer I have come across in Los Angeles. I go to her to get my Eyebrows and bikini wax regularly. I get a Brazilian bikini wax and I?ve learned the hard way that you need to know who to go to for that!! AND SHE IS THE BEST she?s professional fast and clean and makes the experience of getting your bikini area waxed comfortable and painless. She is the only person I recommend for bikini wax in the Beverly Hills adj/ West Hollywood area.
Seriously, She is the best I have come across!!

Hi there, I've been going to Matty for over 10 years now and she is my best kept beauty secret. No one else was able to make my skin glow like her! and I've been around.. the only 'bad' thing i can think of to say about Matty and her salon is IT IS ADDICTIVE:-}!! I feel relaxed and 100% more beautiful and fresh looking when i walk out of the salon, and the glow usually lasts for about three weeks!! She is so professional, kind generous and worth every penny. It feels like she has a true answer or solution to every skin condition out there. I've sent all my friends to her salon and they got hooked on it too. And she is fairly priced! the facials are an hour and a half and Matty and her girls give it their all. It's the only place I feel comfortable recommending for a facial. Matty takes pride in 'hand picking' her girls carefully so anyone you go to at her salon is high quality. She treats this place as her home and her clients as family, which is so rare in Los Angeles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
TIPS: There is usually a waiting list, especially on weekends so if you plan on going try to book your appointment ahead. And try the collagen facial

I highly agree with the excellent review below! I go to Matty's on a regular basis and in addition to the luxury service, the long term results are fantastic! It is the charming, soothing escape I look forward to monthly. I also highly disagree with the other comment below regarding being pushed to buy products. The facialists only recommend products if they think you'll benefit from and leave you to decide on your own. The staff makes you feel so comfortable, almost like you're right at home and understand everyone is on a different budget- if they didn't, the cost of their stellar services wouldn't be so reasonable!

I highly recommend Matty's Skincare. The first time I went to the salon, I received the best facial I have ever received in LA, and, as a matter of fact, the best facial I have ever received, full stop. I haven't gone anywhere else since. The setting is elegant yet unobtrusive, a quiet refuge from the bustling city streets. and the facial is calming yet meticulous and remarkably cleansing. The extractions are HIGHLY effective yet Matty and her staff have a way of making them relatively painless, even relaxing! I receive the collagen facial, Matty's specialty, and I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin ever since I started: I feel and look younger, with softer, healthier skin.

This facial is the best I have come across in the LA area, so far. The environment is peaceful and comfortable. The staff is kind and professional. The facial itself is very nice. And, when you leave your skin doesn't look too bad. This is the only facial I have ever had where the pore/blemish picking does not leave any marks. I was pressured to buy their skin products which I did not like. I was told that if my skin broke out I could return them for a refund. My skin did break out and I was only able to receive a credit for more products. VERY DISSAPPOINTING! However, I am still returning for facials. I'm probably wrong for doing so, but the facials themselves are good quality.
