Edo-Ya is one of the best teppan-yaki places in Fresno. Japanese Kitchen is a close second. Edo-ya is always packed and reservations fill up fast! Other places in town do not have a wait, but you have to ask yourself why. Edo-ya has the best flavor. The steaks, vegetables and even the rice is truely a step above the rest. The biggest reason Edo-Ya and Japanese Kitchen are both so popular is their hot and spicy sauce. They both serve this pink spicy sauce with red flakes that they pour thick teriyaki sauce over. I don't even like spicy foods, but this stuff is so amazing I would never pass it up. I have never had a problem with the service and I always love the food.

Considering what you get, the price for teppan yaki is actually pretty good! I think they are cheaper than japanese Kitchen. This is my sister's favorite lunch spot. We eat here often for birthdays and graduations. It's awesome how they can accommodate big groups.

"This has been my bday dinner choice several years. Love the teppan yaki. The sushi is great too. Service can be a little slow but this place is super busy! Good well drinks at the bar too. They don't skimp.
Menu prices are comparible to all the other Japanese restaurants in town. Clean. Private dining rooms in traditional style too."

Edo-Ya is one of my favorite places to eat in Fresno. As a matter of fact I will be there in about three hours from now. OK, so you may pay for refills on soda... it helps to keep the slummers out of the place. Now if we could only do

I've eaten at a lot of sushi places, and this was probably the worst, tied with Nkd. Fish. \r

First of all, I asked for tamago and they didn't even know what that was. Bad sign already. They had "egg omlette" on the menu, so I ordered
