My meal was huge and delicious. I actually had enough food for a large lunch and an even bigger dinner from the meal. Also, make sure you order the iced coffee. You won't be disappointed!

Every time I eat at this place I leave super full and happy because of the generous serving sizes for really reasonable prices. Their VN Ice Coffee is a must if you're a caffeine fiend. While the neighborhood is a little sketch, it's worth well worth a try!

Tulan is a very authentic vietnamese restaurant. They serve many traditional dishes and very inexpensive. Their hours are great. They open early and close late. During lunch time, they are extremely busy. Their service is okay. Sometimes hard to get their attention. Is not in a great area, it's like a whole in the wall restaurant. But this can be overlooked by the great food they serve inside. Definitely a place to try.

The food was plentiful, tasty, and freshly prepared. They have a full selection of Vietnamese food at a very moderate price. What lacks in atmosphere is made up for in hospitality and quality at a price that can't be beat.

Great Vietnamese Food
by Khairul A.
Tulan is located in the Tenderloin between Market and Mission Street
The service and atmosphere isn't that great, but the food more than makes up.
PROS: Inexpensive Dishes
CONS: Seedy Neighborhood

I have never had a bad dish here and the portions are big enough to share. The shrimp fried rice and spring rolls are a must. I would be surprised if anyone spent more than $10 here. If you get a group, convince them to splurge on the pre-set dinners.
