I've been to Lucky Goldfish many times and purchased many tropical fish and invertebrates from them. They have a 20-30 tanks dedicated to reef tank fish and invertebrates, and most supplies you would need. There are probably 40 tanks for fresh water on the opposite side. I find that their selection is decent most times and great after a shipment. The other people at the store are helpful but not as knowledgeable, and usually aren't as knowledgeable about the selection (though there is a younger man that is OK).
Their prices are reasonable, but you should check for the healthfulness of the specimen before committing.
They also carry smaller birds and supplies. I've also seen hamsters and rats. No cats or dogs.
This pet store is run by a husband & wife team. They have a pretty good selection of fish, mostly community fish, some more aggressive species, plus a wide variety of fancy goldfish (and marine, too). Usually, it seems as though a few of their tanks look a little ragged, but the fish have always been healthy when I've brought them home. Unlike most people working in fish stores, the owners are good with people as well as fish. They are very helpful, make honest recommendations, and knowledgably answer questions. This is a great place if you're getting started, and a good place for more experienced aquarists looking for some nice fish.
Pros: great customer service, pretty good selection of fish
