@bebe2: I've been going to Dr. Setti's office for 8 years and I don't believe your ridiculous story or claims about Mia for one second. Mia is the sweetest, most friendly, most caring individual I've ever met. And that goes for all the staff at Dr. Setti's office. Betty, Frankie (no longer there) Dr. Mic and Dr. Setti, they are all great, Best dentist I ever had. And since Dr. Setti does not even do root canals in that office (he refers you to an endodontist for that) the other part of your story is clearly bogus too. He sent me to another great dentist in Bevery Hills for 2 root canals which cost nothing close to what you claim Mia said. Nonsense!

working actor here (no really,I am haha) who has such great praise for Dr. Setti and staff. I'm in my 4th year with them and they're so awesome. What can I say, professional, friendly, nice office...the best dentist I've been to.

I recently had a bad toothache and found Dr. Setti. He took me in the same morning I called. When I arrived, I only had to wait 2 or 3 minutes. He is very nice and very professional -- I definitely am glad I found him. I wasn't rushed and felt he really cared. He got me out of pain fast and the office staff is very friendly and puts you at ease all the way through. I'm very happy to find a nice dental office to go back to.

I turned 30 recently (ugh), and for all my life I've really disliked my teeth. I am so self-conscious of smiling, laughing, picture taking etc. I finally said enough is enough and wanted to fix the problem NOW! But, who to call? My coworker (I work in the entertainment field) turned me on to Dr. Setti. Oh my god, he is so nice, as is everybody in the office. Very relaxed, more like going to a spa or something. I ended up getting a total of 10 Lumineer veneers and Dr. S whitened my other teeth with Zoom. I am so excited about the results, I am REALLY smiling for the first time in my life...not hiding my teeth. If they are still accepting new patients, I highly recommend you go for an appointment - they didn't even charge me for my first consultation. Like I said, so nice in all ways. I love the hygienists there too-friendly and thorough.

I used to hate going to the dentist before I found Dr. Setti 2 1/2 years ago. I can't believe that I actually enjoy doing to the dentist! Dr. Setti is so calm and laid back and gentle, I get so relaxed. I really like the hygienist and assistant - well, everybody there. Dr. Setti designed 2 beautiful Lumineer veneers for me and they are so natural looking nobody would know. Call them, you won't be sorry.

Well, prior to Dr. Setti, I had tried 2 L.A. area dentists and was disappointed, to say the least. One office was very rude and I didn't return. The dentist at the second office seemed to always be in a hurry, but I got some work done with him anyway. The bottom line is that I was not satisfied with the look of some dental work I had done. (My job requires that I look good all the time.) Then, thank god, I was referred to Dr. Setti by a co-worker. Dr. Setti is so nice and caring and bent over backwards for me, taking me in right away and spending time with me. I told him that I didn't like the look of my front crowns and a veneer. He did an instant mock-up of how he thought my teeth should look and I almost fainted - I didn't know it could look so good. A week or 2 later, the final product was in my mouth and it's BEAUTIFUL. Trust me, a crown and veneer is NOT just a crown and veneer, I found out. He is relaxed and the staff is really nice and very professional. My partner and 3 co-workers go there as well. I highly recommend Dr. Setti to anyone looking for a gentle artistic dentist with very friendly customer service.

What can i say...Dr. Setti is soooo nice...gentle, he really cares and it shows. He spends a lot of time making sure everything is just right. I got two porcelain crowns and when he showed me when he finished I couldn't tell them from my other teeth! I moved from Sacramento where I thought I had a good dentist but this one wins the prize. He's a real artist. Karen the hygienist is great and Mimi (?) at front is so pleasant and helpful.
Pros: VERY gentle, Cares, Helpful staff, Really nice, relaxed

Never thought I'd enjoy going to the dentist

Dr. Setti has been so wonderful and has done an amazing job. I have brand new lumineers and a beautiful new smile. He is a perfectionist and gave me exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to look like a different person but wanted to improve the overall smile and imprefections. It did take a few additional trips but I was happy that it was done the way I wanted and he woldn't let me have it any other way. The staff is extremely friendly and nice and Dr. Setti is so gentle it doesn't even feel like going to the dentist.
Pros: Great results, pain free, perfectionist, great staff, always on time

Super quality dentist and excellent staff

I tried the office because of rec's here and I'm very happy with the office... the staff made me feel relaxed and welcome, like being a guest in somebody's house, not in a dental office. The receptionist was happy to accommodate my request of weird appointment times because of my job. Dr. Setti is meticulous and perfectionistic but with NO attitude I've seen with previous dentists. They're efficient and professional. I got 2 perfect looking crowns for a lot less than my previous dentist in Encino. HIghly recommended.

I read all the great reviews about Dr. Setti and was desperate to find a good and friendly dentist, so I gave them a call. I asked if they do any free consultations (since I need a lot of work done and want to find a dentist that I?m convertible with) the reception (Mia) responded with NO! And hung up. I was so shocked, I called her back and asked her ?why? she hung up the phone? She said she didn?t! Strange..! Since, I had a teethe ach and was desperate to find a good dentist in my neighborhood, I figured maybe it was a bad phone connection, so I continued to try to make an appointment to see Dr. Setti. I asked her, since I?m working with a budged and I?m not big in wasting the Dr?s and my time, how much does the Doctor charge for a root canal? She responded with up to $1700! Which was much more then I wanted to spend for a front tooth root canal, so I said; wow, that?s a bit much for me. Without her going into any details, she responded with; well, maybe you should fine a cheap dentist that you can afford, or go to a cheap clinic, cause if you want quality you have to PAY for it HONEY!!! Again,I was shocked! I know dental work is expensive. However, I don?t understand why dentist are so rude about it! I just couldn?t believe my ears! The way she dismissed me! I?m not a millionaire, however, I am willing to spend a good amount on fixing my teeth. Anyway, long story short. She then hung up on me?again! Is it me, or do (especially Persian dentists) have a way that is just rood and very ? pay me top dollars or take a hike ? type of attitude? Is every one loaded with money that asking for general prices makes you out to be a poor beggar, unworthy and an unwelcome client? Maybe she just was having a bad day, however, I?m not sure I can justify her behavior! I?m not saying that Dr. Setti is a bad dentist, cause I never meet him, but as for them being friendly and welcoming, not according to my experience with them!

I found Dr. Setti here and though I've never actually reviewed anything before, I had to come back after seeing Dr. Setti for my 6 new Lumineer veneers. He also did an amazing whitening of my other teeth with Zoom. I'm a makeup artist in the entertainment field and I feel I know quality when it comes to the face. I researched veneers and found that Lumineers and Da Vinci are both superior (Dr. Setti explained the finer points of both.) He's also straightening my lower front teeth with Invisalign (which truly are unnoticeable.) To sum up, Dr. Setti is the best dentist I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few, having lived all over the country. He is knowledgeable, talented -- has an eye for "your" best look (he taught me some things about the look of the face I didn't know) -- and very friendly. Really, everybody is there. If you're looking for the best, you will do yourself a great favor to see Dr. Setti. My partner goes there and loves it too.
Pros: I actually ENJOY going here!! Great attitude, friendly and caring.
Cons: A bit of a drive for me but worth it.
