Who needs to go to MacDonald's to keeps kids happy. I can take my 2 year old to toys r us and just let her run wild and see all the new toys and books. The best part about all this is it is not bad for her health. She can read the books and does not have to whisper to tell me her own story.
PROS: Fun place to browse
CONS: no lay-a-way
...I'm a Toys-R-Us kid.
I love this store. It's a fairly large one, so it's usually got a nice selection of toys, and enough space that you don't feel claustrophobic (if you're agoraphobic, though, you might want to find a smaller place). They shift their inventory quite often, though, so it's the kind of place that's great to browse once a month or so, and see what's new. If you're lucky, you can find some great liquidations on "last month's" toys.
Parking is plenty ample at the Bridgepointe shopping center, and I recommend lunch at Armadillo Willy's next door...
PROS: Spacious store, lots of toys
CONS: I could spend way too much money here...
