Save yourself the time and pain..find another Dentist.
by anthony h.
I had a teeth cleaning there that resulted in twice having the woman pierce my gums accidentally while she was busy talking with someone else. I ended up ending the appointment and left the office. Getting an appointment with the contracted out service was ridiculous too, so expect to change your schedule dramatically if you require a teeth cleaning.
I had a crown installed by Eltzroth. Less than 6 months later it falls out and to my astonishment I am told they will not replace it for free. I should have known this from the initial installment when he shaved a wall of the crown too thin, causing me to ask why he didn't have it sent back to the lab..his response is that it'll be fine. Sure it will.
I wouldn't go back there at this point even if they would do it for for free. The only reason I even asked for them to replace the crown that was installed poorly (instead of finding a competent dentist) is because I was a college student at the time and broke.
Do yourself a favor and thumb through the yellow pages for a few more minutes and find another dentist.

Neglected and overcharged
by Carol S.
I found Dr. Elzroth online, he sounded great. I was treated great by his staff who assured me they were giving me the lowest cost on treatments. He gave me a filling that bothered me from the time it was done. I saw him shortly after and he said if it's still bothering me he'll try something. A month later it was still bothering me and I voiced my discontent with his work. I came in the next day and his staff were rude to me. He looked at my tooth and did nothing, but charged $120 for the visit. He has no guarantee on his work, basically if he makes a mistake you'll have to pay him to repair it. What happened to honest dentists if there ever was such a thing?

Emergency Visit that Cost a Bundle
by Suzanne M.
On a Friday morning, I had a toothache. I called Dr. Eltzroth and he was willing to fit me in that morning for an examination. Dr Eltzroth made ex-rays of one side of my mouth, performed a "pulp vitality test" and recommended that I have a root canal and a crown on my ailing tooth. No more treatment, x-rays, cleaning, etc were performed. The charge for this visit was a whopping $415 dollars! $255 of which was $105 for "emergency treatment" and $150 for after hours emergency treatment. I believe that all dental offices are open on Friday mornings. I have since asked him to rectify this problem and his response has been to ignore me. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your dental needs.
