Della Santina's Trattoria

I had dinner here last night and both the setting and the food were incredible! The outdoor courtyard complete with fountain and overhead greenery is a delightful place to sit, eat, have a glass of wine. The food was exceptional (I had prawns in a lemony white wine sauce, salad and a good house Pinot Gris).

Della Santina's is one of those great restaurants where you feel
like you are at home and love to come back to over and over again! The
food is delicious and well served. The prices are more then reasonable
and the greatest aspect is the warm and friendly atmosphere. It's
clear the owner makes extensive efforts to make you feel like family."

We went to Della Santinas for the first time this past Xmas eve. They offer decent Italian cuisine but, for the price, the atmosphere wasnt appealing. We were seated under a makeshift tent out on the patio. Since it was evening, space heaters were used and depending on where you sat, some of us were too cold or too hot. When we arrived, our table was not ready. Since theres nowhere convenient to wait without hanging over someones table, the host told us to go to the bar next door to wait. When they came to get us, we were told that we could not take our drinks with us. I felt that this was a bit of a hustle since the drinks were not cheap. The host was very friendly to those he recognized, so regulars may have a different experience. Dont think Ill hurry back.
