I adopted a chihuahua from the OC Animal Shelter. Brookfield had donated an eye surgery for him so that he could have a chance for adoption. Otherwise, I'm sure he would have been passed over and never gotten a second chance. I called Brookfield upon adopting him because his eye was still having trouble. They took him in the same day and continued to treat his eye until it was completely healed, including boarding for him to monitor it closely. All I paid for was the medicine required and miscellaneous fees for sedation. When we take him back in, all the staff remember him and are super friendly. We recently had to take him to an animal hospital off-hours for a possible ruptured disc, and the doctor at that hospital had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Valentine. They are very good to work with and don't try to sell all kinds of treatments or medicines that are not absolutely necessary. Our dog is happy and enjoying his new life with us thanks to Brookfield. We recently adopted another dog from a shelter and plan to bring her here for vetting as well.

Let me start by saying that if I could do it over, I would research my dogs vet as much as I would any living human being that I care about. The outcome of a simple surgical procedure was terminal for my baby. Simple Vet neglect caused a delayed and traumatic death.

Dr. Valentine and his daughter, Dr. Amy, are truly professionals in their field. Their friendly staff not only makes me comfortable taking my dog there, my dog thoroughly enjoys his vet visits, as observed by his tail wagging. Although they are very busy, Dr. Valentine and his staff always makes time for those last-minute appointments. Additionally, Dr. Valentine follows through with a call to discuss the results of the vet exams. I have taken my dog to Brookfield Pet Hospital for almost 13 years, and I am pleased with the results.

After 2 surgerys at another place, Dr. Heidi was able to pinpoint the problem with my kitty sent me to another dr. and now he is well.

My dog recently had to be put down, and that was a horrible ordeal for me. This pet hospital really made the situation as easy as it could be for me though. Not only were the staff always smiling and empathizing, but they really took the time to explain all of the details of her illness and why it was better to let her go. The sensitivity and compassion of the staff really make them stand out in my opinion. The place is always packed with animals so I know that they must be doing something right!
