From the cashiers to the person giving expert advise on the vitamins/cosmetic aisle, this is by far, the friendliest Whole Foods Market around. The food is always fresh, and although the store is not as large as others in the chain, it is clean and well-organized. Try a pre-packaged meal or the salad bar for a healthy and affordable lunch or dinner.

Students can now afford to shop at Whole Foods!
by Mich L.
I'm a UCLA student and had no idea I'd end up doing all my shopping@Whole Foods but it's so affordable now! I was buying all their 365 items+produce deals like $1 mangos-which rock btw! I never write reviews but this had to be done because I cannot believe how cheap Whole Foods has become!
Sure, they have their expensive wines and cheeses but I was buying all their amazing 365 items and even some that weren't were still much cheaper than my other local markets like T.J's and Ralphs. I also didn't know that whole foods gives coupons in their free Whole Deal magazine so I took a bunch and gave them to my roommates. I've always loved Whole Foods but never thought I could afford it so it's cool to know I can buy high quality which isn't expensive.
Oh, and I particularly love this Whole Foods because the staff are super- friendly, helpful and are always laughing and joking with each another and it actually makes me want to apply for a summer job here if they're hiring. Also the free samples are well worth the 10minute walk from campus - they're always tasty and there's loads of them - WAY TO GO WHOLE FOODS....FINALLY!!!

Looking for an obscure item that you can't find in the grocery store? You'll find it here for sure. This is centrally located on the edge of Westwood Village and has everything you need to eat healthy or not - the choice is yours. Very yummy lunch food here while you are shopping for your specialty groceries.

I have to say that I was a little upset that this much larger store ran the Breadsticks grocery store (which used to be across the street) out of business. Breadsticks was a long-time Westwood establishment, and yet another that fell victim to a large chain. The Whole Foods in Westwood, though, provides a range of organic groceries and a food bar for those who need to eat on the run. A good variety is available, but it is certainly pricey for a college area.
