Peppertree Books

It's easy to get caugh up in the lure of the large bookseller such as Border's, but the real meat and bones of the industry are independant, small bookstores like Peppertree. With an inviting, warm atmosphere, Peppertree's motto is "browse the book, meet the author." Which is exactly what sets them apart and makes them so wonderful: they schedule regular book signings and speaking events with authors. Everyone from Deepak Chopra to Engelbert Humperdink have sat in this cozy shop and met with their readers. Peppertree will continue to be a breath of fresh air in an industry mostly concerned with quantity and revenue over quality.
