Insider Pages Reviews for Eduardo's Border Grill

Ratings_icons Eduardo's is AMAZING!

Matt S. | insider Insider | Rank: 15,818

Eduardo's Border Grill is the #1 Spot for Mexican food in West LA.
Better than Chipotle. Better than Chronic Tacos. Better than Taco Bell, and of course Better than Baja Fresh. Eduardo's is simply the best.
My favorite item on the menu is the Border Burrito which is huge! It comes with everything a burrito is supposed to have + FREE GUAC!! ...Take that, Chipotle!

Something else that makes this place great is their Salsa Bar. All of the Salsa's are made fresh and are very delicious. There is a Mango Salsa which is very sweet and tastes great with the Border Burrito.

They also have a good selection of drinks, including Cactus Cooler. I haven't had Cactus Cooler in years until I stepped inside Eduardo's.

Unfortunately they only accept cash, but thats OK because their food is amazing!

I recommend Eduardo's Border Grill to all lovers of Mexican Food.

If you are looking for quality Mexican food, go to Eduardos. Their prices are reasonable and the food is great. When we have working lunches, we order from Eduardo's. Not only do they deliver on time, the food is always fresh. Their beans, rice, grilled chicken and steak are amazing!

Ratings_icons Eduardo's is the #1 place for Burritos in West LA

lakers2408

Eduardo's has one of the best burrito's in LA. The Border burrito is so good, I stopped going to Chipotle. They give you free guacamole which is a huge plus. There is also free salsa which tastes great and is obviously fresh. Eduardo's gets 5 stars from me for being the best!

Pros: Burritos, Salsa, Free Guacamole

Cons: Nothing

Ratings_icons A Great Place To Stop on the Way Home

risworld

I have been eating Eduardo's since the place opened, the decor could use a bit of updating at this point- but the food it great. I love any Burrito they have, good quesadilla, good soft taco, great tostada and on and on. Never eat in, just take it home- then you have the ambiance you want. Oh, the old lady at the counter is not my favorite...but if you catch her on a good day she might smile.

Pros: Burritos, Parking, Always Good

Cons: Old lady at counter, decor is aged

Ratings_icons What Happened??

afoodiegirl

I used to love this place. The food was freshly made and delicious. I used to eat there a couple of times a week and bring my friends. But the last six months the food has been not that good! The chips are way overdone (and I got the sense that the oil is not changed often enough). They used to be fresh andlLight...now they are burnt and heavy! Even the chicken was burnt the last time I ate there! Adiós Eduardo's!!

Pros: Inexpensive, not crowded, sometimes delicious

Cons: chips overdone

Ratings_icons Wonderful Salsa!

bd36576

The service is like any other counter service place. The food was not overly seasoned or over-cooked. They guys working the grills and prep areas were full of smiles and very polite and professional.

The salsa!!!!! The salsa is killer. There are many types there and they are all FANTASTIC. The combo of the happy vibe, salsa and tasty food made for a great quick lunch.

Pros: freshness, salsa

Cons: parking

Ratings_icons How to build the perfect burrito...

Eduardo's doesn't look like much from the outside, but step in and you'll get to try one of the best burritos in town! This is a small place, and during the weekday lunch rush you may have trouble finding a seat. Takeout is always an option.

The service is always efficient and friendly, and as for the food: the burritos are delicious, generously sized, and made with fresh ingredients. A variety of tasty salsas are avaialble at the salsa bar. Quesadillas, tacos and enchiladas round out the offerings. Canned soft drinks are available, and fountain drinks are sold with free refills.

If you're looking for refried bean burritos, this isn't the place -- but if you like fresh ingredients and black bean burritos, give Eduardo's a try!

Ratings_icons Burrito heaven

We've found it--LA's best burrito, or it has to be one of them. Fresh ingredients and plenty of choices. This is a perfect for super casual lunches for nearby Westwood and Century City employees but has to be one of UCLA students' staples.

Pros: cheap, fresh
