Azuma's is next to Vallco Fashion Park near Sears Auto. It's been there for a long time. You have your choice of two types of seating--traditional tables or Japanese-style (where you need to remove your shoes).
I enjoy the teriyaki. The skewers were also good. This place can get very busy.

I Fly-in from the midwest for Azuma sushi at the counter, often as possible
by Robert H.
Agedashi-dofu, nuta, sushi at the counter, and fun to eat and watch. Been eating at Azuma from Owner Louie Nakano's beginning there. Half the other shop owners around the bay area apprenticed with him.
Unfortunately I was transferred away, but still fly-in from the mid-west as often as possible. (2 or 3 times a year) I only wish they served breakfast as well!!! Don't know what to eat? Start at the top of the appetizer menu and work your way down. I've had many good large parties there over the years as well. When it gets crowded, order some more sake and have patience. It isn't inexpensive, but the tastes are authentic and very fresh.
Bob Hall will be back.

First off do not come here if you like rolls- try Kiku Sushi for that. Azuma has great teriyaki dishes as well as sashimi that is always fresh and delicious. I also like their Agadashi tofu and their green tea is delicious.
