A professional like me looking for career advancement should stay away & look for another school. The school has a problem with professionalism. I took HEMODIALYSIS course last march till june & i'm still waiting for the externship... that should have been right after the class ended. Plus the fact that the class has no machine & arm to work with, came in 2 or 3 weeks before the class ended. And ofcourse donot expect any consideration with your externship schedule inspite of the long wait and the fact that they know that you are a working professional.

I DO NOT recommend this school to anyone looking for a quality, fair and positive learning experience. This school has no business being in business for adult learners. I attended the LVN program and it is not worth the money they are charging. The school hires inept instructors who have no idea what the word "teaching" and "professionalism" means. They were unable to take suggestions from a student's point of view and as a result I was repeatedly verbally harassed, humiliated and treated unfairly. On top of that, the quality of education is very poor. This is evident by their extremely low passing rates on the NCLEX state board exam. Check it out for yourself at www.bvnpt.ca.gov. Not only do they provide a crappy education experience, if you even dare address serious concerns and issues to the program director, they will disregard it and try to find something they can pin against you. If you do decide to choose this school for whatever insane reason, equip yourself with other ways to learn on your own and keep your mouth shut regarding their unethical ways.

My cousin "graduated" from this private vocational nursing school. She paid around $3,000 for a course to be CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA) and they helped her get a job right after finishing the course plus she passed the state examination on her first try. You can get this same training at a public occupational center for no more than $1500 plus the wait. Other than that, she has commented to me that the teachers were great, helpful, and her schedule flexible. Still, the price for the course is cheaper than at other private schools.

They also offer Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) courses at a much higher cost.

Financial aid available to those who qualify.

PROS: Good school
CONS: Price compared to a public school
