Gila Rut A Hair Salon

It is a rather relaxing experience when I go there for a haircut. The massage and mini facial is a total of about 15 minutes but it is an added touch and helps you relax while sitting in the chair. The staff is very friendly and I've always been satisfied with my haircut. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a new stylist.

this place is a little on the more expensive side, but you definitely get your money's worth! it's about $40 a haircut, but it includes a facial, massage, and nice relaxing herbal tea! the atmosphere is great, everyone is extremely nice and i always leave with a great new haircut!

Was here visiting and they were able to get me in the day I called. Wash and cut came with complimentary neck and shoulder rub and mini-facial (or makeup touch up) which were both great. Had Alli as a stylist as she was great, very nice, listened to what I wanted, and gave me a great cut. Absolutely loved my experience there, and when I got to the counter, was very surprised to hear him ask me for only $35!! Have been to places that were just as nice but cost so much more. Will definitely go there again if I am in San Diego. They the products she used on my hair at the counter for purchase, but because I was flying I didn't buy and no one pressured me to.

Gila Rut is a beautiful salon with an extensive list of services. The stylists and estheticians are well-trained and thorough, however, the salon is very expensive and they are very high pressure with product sales.
