4 Stars: Loud indeed but great food (by Eeva P.)

I ate here a few times with co-workers who don't even eat sushi...I never heard a complaint about their other items. I eat sushi and always thought their lunch specials are great value, portions are generous and vary in selection. Makes it easy to choose for the undecided while viewing the many varieties of sushi rolls. It is loud indeed so don't make this your intimate date selection...take your brother's kids instead, or make it a party. I think it's the high ceiling echo-effect.

4 Stars: One of the best sushi restaurants in the Sac Area. (by Sara L.)

Samurai has a lot to offer. An extensive sushi menu including several original rolls, friendly staff, and ample space. The decor is a bit overwhelming and noisy, but the food makes up for it. It is a great restaurant for midweek dining. Their sushi specials are a great value. Loud environment makes the restaurant kid-friendly. You won't be concerned about your child disturbing patrons.
