Turf Supper Club

This place is a nice little dive bar in the Golden Hill area. A grill in the center of the bar has customers cook their own food, which is a fun concept. Ownership did change hands, and I know a lot of the friendly staff and bartenders with this change.

This place is one of my absolute favorite low key spots for dinner n' drinks. I heard it has changed hands, but hopefully nothing else about it has changed. If you want to check out the new place, I heard you can find the old owners and friendly staff at their new location in La Mesa.

PROS: Tasty food, stiff drinks, good music, interesting crowd
CONS: Clothes will smell like bbq, no reservations

Good (stiff) drinks, fun people, entertaining staff and the best juke box in town. Grill your own steak and make new friends at the large grill in the center of the place! Very popular place, crowded most nights, but especially on weekends.
