I like going to this place because I feel like I'm one of the priveleged few. It's kind of hidden, and as below, it looks small from the front. But once I get inside, I can spend hours looking at all the possibilities. The plants are grouped by type, and somewhat by preferences. They have much more selection than most chain places, especially native and California-happy plants. Prices seem reasonable too.

This is a deceptively large nursery. It appears small from the front but stretches on forever. They have a large selection of trees, shrubs, flowers and everything you need for gardening. They are also very helpful in supplying planting instructions.

The Golden Nursery has a very nice selection of annuals and perennials. The staff is helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable about all thing s plants.
