My Jeweler

My Jeweler's Upland store is fantastic. I'm so gald I took the drive to Upland. Since they closed their Diamond Bar store in Nov. 2006 I've had no choice but to go to Upland and boy is it worth it. The quality and service is always on the cutting edge with the digital designing and lazer repair technoligy. I recomend them to everyone.

On June 9th, 2006, I went to "My Jeweler" to have a watch battery replaced. I figured that since I had sold the watch, I wanted to have a new battery placed for the buyer and because I did not want to gamble with trying to replace the battery myself, I ought to take it to a professional. I was completely outraged at my experience at "My Jeweler".
Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by a man who claimed to be the manager of the store. I explained to him that I needed a battery replaced, and he said he could take a look at it.
He took the watch and attempted to take the cover of the watch off with a knife edge. How do I know? Because I was watching with my own eyes - they have two jeweler stations with windows for patrons to watch them at work. Upon seeing this knife edge, I felt uneasy, but figured this was standard. Then I heard the sound... metal to metal.
He placed a deep scratch in the back of a brand new watch - he then claimed that there were already scratches on the watch - which was absolutely untrue. (I had just taken photo's of the watch to send to my buyer to verify everything was in good order!!!).
I told him, "you put that scratch on this watch". His reply? "THANK YOU, HAVE A NICE DAY".
Unbelievable. How can a business treat a customer that way? I felt so upset, so cheated.

NEVER GO TO THIS JEWELER IF YOU WANT TO FEEL CHEATED, HUMILIATED AND OUTRIGHT UPSET.

THEY ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL - THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE A STORE MANAGER WHO BASICALLY CALLS THEIR CUSTOMERS LIARS.

SHAME ON YOU 'MY JEWELER".
