5 Stars: The Pasta Connection is OPEN (by by OCJill at Citysearch)

This restaurant is NOT closed, so whomever said that hasn't been there in a while. Just try calling. LOL I first went here years ago when I read an Elmer Dills review and it has drawn me back on it's own from that first visit on. OMG, I have never tasted Manicotti like they have there....it is a MUST! It has a red sauce with a white sauce poured in and it is unbelievable! Don't let the un-Italian name fool you....it is the most authentic Italian food you'll ever taste. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

5 Stars: The addtress posted is NOT the quality location aon Chapman Ave, in Orange (by by MichaelPope at Citysearch)

The American breakfast is one of the best in O.C. The Italian food at lunch and dinner is superb. A rare find amounf small restaurants that are in and out of business in O.C. I am a long time customer and know a lot of "regulars" there. Very customer friendly place.

3 Stars: Not Particularly Impressed (by by cocotheslug at Citysearch)

There is an agrentine flare at this pasta restuarant. We had empanadas as an appetizer. My chicken cacciatore was pretty bad ... but it was probably just an ordering mistake ... my boyfriend's ravioles were small but fresh and the meat sauce was sweet and yummy. Easy on the wallet too and pretty good service.

4 Stars: Satisfying food, very cozy (by Grace C.)

The pasta is made fresh on the premises, and the sauces are so filling and good. The spaghetti is square cut, and has a very tender bite, not al dente like I prefer. But the marinara sauce is very unique. It looks like ground tomatoes, carrots? and spices, its almost lighter than a regular marinara.

This place is Argentinian-Italian, so I don't know what spices they use in their dipping oil and pesto sauce, but its a bit different and I like it. I usually get their ravioli or tortellini. You can order a mix of alfredo, pesto or marinara in one dish. On the table, they even have a giant laminated card with pictures of each dish. The portions are generous, and very tasty . I always order a glass of table wine and it gets me buzzed fast! The room is a bit dark, so it feels cozy especially on a rainy day.

They also serve Argentinian specialties, but I haven't tried them because I always get the ravioli. I think they're moderately priced, definitely affordable. Maybe the other reviewer just had one bad experience?

PROS: Homemade pasta, great sauces, potent wine, aaaaah.
CONS:
