I walked in one day and discovered this little treasure on Mira Mesa Blvd. Once I was in I was hooked for life. The customer service there was great. I can not understand anyone witting a bad review on this store. I love family owned stores. I am disabled and in a electric scooter, and they go out of their way to assist me. The classes that I have taken have opened a new world for me. I not only found a wonderful bead store with great selections, I have made friends for life!

I really love the selection here and how it is displayed for the customer. I am satisfied with the quality of their materials. They have classes here and also many samples of things to choose from. You can work on your projects at their work table and they have bead nights where you can get together with friends to bead! Fun!

Bead Gallery is nicely located right in Mira Mesa is a good place if you're looking for crystal beads specifically. ALthough it does carry other beads, ones made of wood/plastic, it seems to specialize in the crystal ones. The prices fo beads themselves are not so bad and tend to be cheaper than other stores I've seen. The cheapest range from just a few cents. A strung set can cost up to $10, but I'd suggest buying them separately to get the best bargain. Overall not a bad place, but not the best if you're looking for a specific non-crystal bead.

PROS: Fairly cheap, decent selection
CONS: Specializes mainly in crystal beads only

Bead Gallery, right past the 15 freeway on Mira Mesa, has tons of beads(wooden, crystal, plastic, etc), clasps, and things necessary to any jewelry project. The beads can range from 10 cents each or to a strung set for $6-10. The store is pretty small but well organized and i didn't find any beads that weren't supposed to be in their section. They didn't have the particular beads that I were looking for, which was a real let-down. I thought a place called "bead gallery" would have every type of bead imaginable but the size and color of a particular bead I wanted, wasn't carried by the store. I wouldn't go back unless I really wanted some crystal beads, which is what they seemed to specialize in.
