Millbrae Pancake House

Being from Southern California, we love to visit friends in Millbrae, especially when they take us to the Millbrae Pancake House! The food is wonderful and the service is terriffic. The kids are astonished how quickly they get their food. Can't wait to get back there this summer!

the food is good and the place is always packed for breakfast. i guess the non-stop crowds can speak for the food. but, because there are always big crowds you have to wait quite a while.

my girlfriends and i love coming here on sunday mornings. it's a perfect way to start the day. everything is good. the portions are large enough to share. the wait can sometimes be long, but once you're seated, you're food will be there in no time.

everything on the menu is good & best of all you get served fast! you'll be in & out in no time w/a full stomach! The hot chocolate comes w/a mound of whip cream, it's the best! They also serve large parties!

I love the Millbrae pancake house. It gets unfortunately very crowded on the weekends around brunchtime (read: long waits) but it's totally worth it. Most of the breakfast plates come with two pancakes as a "side" -- but the pancakes are almost a foot across, they're "ginormous" and so fluffy and yummy...

Parking is okay -- until it gets crowded; if there's a wait outside, expect to be hard pressed for parking. But it's close to a residential section where street parking is usually easy to find, you just need to walk a block or two.

PROS: Amazing pancakes and breakfast dishes
CONS: Sometimes a little greasy, parking sometimes tough

The family style pancake house is establishes in early days (if remembered correctly - 1900, anyway with history) so the style is tradition both in food and decor.
Great pancakes-all day breakfast . The portion is big but a little bit pricy with not so good service.

We have been going to the Millbrae Pancake House for many years and have always been happy with our experience. It can get crowded on the weekend, but it is a very large venue so the wait isn't too long. I always get the blueberry pancakes which are very good, and a huge portion. We have also had lunch there and the sandwiches are good, typical diner fare. The service is outstanding.
