4 Stars: mmm cheesecake! (by Crystal M.)

The cheesecake here is absolutely delicious! This restaurant is sophisticated with modern decorations. While every sweet delicacy they sell here is tasty and exquisite, I can't quite say that I love all the desserts except for the cheesecake. One star is taken off because the price is expensive for what it is, and not to mention they add all sorts of extra things like flower petals and fruit, when all I want is the cake! Also the selection is not extensive, and they don't always have the cheesecake there.... but overall I still look forward to coming to this place. Must try out if you've never been here before!

1 Stars: Extraordinary Mice!! (by Toxqui A.)

I have just gotten back from going to your little italy for dessert.
It was a sickening experience after seeing a couple of mice in your restaurant.
We let our waiter know His name (Nelson L) said oh yeahh those are our friends!!
Are you kidding me is this a way to run a restaurant. Sick!!
I understand that in some countries mice/rats are a delicacy but here please that is just gross. After that comment from our waiter it is my understanding that they do not care about the cleanliness and quality of the desserts. sure it might taste good but not with a rat in it. Just writing this as to warn other might be customers not to get grossed out like we did by seeing mice around extraordinary desserts and contacting the San diego Health department.
My compliments on the Tea Mice Droppings, Triple Chocolat Mice, passion fruit mice, Torta misu mice!!

1 Stars: junk in my trunk (by David C.)

This place makes me fat. Someone needs to wrap their arms around my big big butt, swing me around in circles and scream, "Time for Atkins, Tubby!"

5 Stars: amazing (by Lindsey O.)

Extrodinary desserts is the greatest dessert place ever. The prices are high but it's worth it. They have cake by the slice or to take home, cookies, scones, brownies, cobblers etc. They also have great tea. You can sit with a pot of tea and some cake and be in heaven. They stay open late at night.

business is very fancy, a little bit on the expensive side espeically if you're a college student, but it has a lovely atmosphere. Take your date there, they would see what good taste you have in desserts.

5 Stars: sweet tooth (by Katherine T.)

This place definitely satisfies any sweet tooth. Although a little pricey, these deserts are certainly no oridinary deserts. Cakes, tarts, and drinks beyond anyone's imagination, they provide an adorable atmosphere as well as fantastically creative and delicious deserts. Open late and always bustling with activity, this little cafe is a fantastic place to take a date or to hang out with a bunch of friends.

5 Stars: incredible (by Margaret D.)

Go, go go! They have the most decadent, delicious stuff here. It's a great date place so get here early on weekend nights-- lines go OUT the door! Patio dining is had by candlelight. Be sure to have someone holdyour place in line and go forward to check out the refrigerated section, or else you'll miss half of it! They also blend their own teas.

PROS: Great date place, deliciousness
CONS: Lots of calories and long line

5 Stars: Delicious! (by Carleen K.)

This is a very popular dessert hangout all San Diego locals know about. Located in a random spot with not much else around it, Extraordinary Desserts offers a variety of delicious cakes and coffee to choose from. You have the option of getting your dessert to go or sitting in their cute little cafe area. The price is worth every penny. Usually crowded with a line out the door on weekends and nights, try an afternoon if possible.

5 Stars: a glutton's version of an orgasm (by jessica s.)

this place is indescribable. the desserts are fantastic-- very rich, sweet, anything that you'd want in a dessert. food here is definitely of high quality (considering a slice of chocolate cake can go for 8 bucks). the atomosphere is unique; it's like you're in a romantic sort of garden setting. it gets crowded during the night and parking is difficult to find.

5 Stars: Excellent dessert and tea (by Chris S.)

The desserts are very delicious. The only downside to this place is that it is crowded and, like all places downtown and worth going to in SD, parking is hard to find sometimes.
Food and tea are a bit pricey, but make sure you try the Jasmine tea- it's worth it.

PROS: desserts
CONS: crowded

5 Stars: The most excellent cakes ever eaten or made!!! (by Bryan D.)

This restaurant is located near the down town area of San Diego, and judging by its appearance you may never know the quality of treats held within; that is until you see the lines gathering outside the door. Extraordinary Desserts specializes in desserts, especially cakes, and by far has no equal. The Chef is highly trained and a master of the palette, combining salts, sweats, bitters, and sours in excellent combinations. Expect to have a variety of flavors to try and sauces to expound them.
