I have gone to buffalo exchanges off and on through the last several years to get mostly shirts that have uniqueness to them, and a few pairs of pants as well. I think it's good to recycle.
5i went there the other day to sell my clothes that i didnt even wear and i wanted extra cash. Last time i went there a chick looked threw my clothes and picked some out but this time it was a guy i was a little sceptical because both

What do you expect when you go into a thrift store. It really is hit or miss, but still a place I go to sell my clothes. There have been times when I have walked in and found many things I like and others where I swear I will never go back. I would def check this place out though--see what you think.

Pros: Good Clothes
Cons: Bad Clothes
So i just got back from going there the first time. It was amaaaaaaazing. I bought a pair of brand new true religions, a free people tank, a knit hat, a sweater from silence and noise, and a slouchy t shirt from bdg. My brother bought 3 pendleton flannels, a pairs of jeans from lucky, and like 7 tee shirts. Together we spent only 300$! The service was fantastic, pretty organized, and amazing clothes. Im never shopping any where else!!! Thank you buffalo exchange!

Pros: best store for thrifters
I usually go to The Buff in Sherman Oaks and I always find at least a couple items. They carry everything from Target brand items to high end designer. They are extra picky when buying key items I found they always take are purses, dresses and basically worn once shoes. At times when they don't take my stuff I usually come back within a month or so and they end up taking an item they make have passed on. I always have items I buy from the store dry cleaned before wearing which I recommend...

This is the place to go if you're on a budget but want quality clothes. I get all my high priced jeans, shoes and dresses here for cheap! Being that it's a thrift store, you have to expect to drop in a few times a month, and spend some time going through the racks. It's worth it, I get compliments on my clothes all the time and they last for years.

I'm too big on vintage shopping, but I frequented this store because my friend would go there often. Usually, you have to look pretty hard and be pretty imaginative to find something worth purchasing. But I did buy this adorable (though pretty worn-out looking) purse with mushrooms on it for $5. Not too bad... also I bought this plain, black sweater there for $3. Though I can't stand the smell of the place, the purchases were worth the suffering.

Pros: friendly staff, cheap
Cons: smelly
I find it very shady that my poor review of this horrific store was erased... not surprised though, this store is just as shady.

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
This store bought hardly any of my merchandise and then asked if I wanted to DONATE it to them. That wasn't really the point of my going in there to SELL my clothes, but looking around I could tell that a lot of people had DONATED their clothes because the store was full of JUNK. Sure there are a few items that you may be lucky to find sorting through all the other junk. I also get severe allergies everytime I go into this dump. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it's too much trouble to find anything worthwhile and they don't like buying clothes. Take your clothes somewhere else to sell, that is my recommendation.

Pros: somtimes you might get lucky
Cons: allergies, poor selection, ugly clothes
I find delightful deals here like Antik jeans for $100 (those are $300+ new and this still had tags). T-shirts do seem to be extra expensive but many are vintage-y and much better made (nicer fabrics, designs, etc.) than your standard Fruit of the Loom. They have a wide variety of stuff and generally pretty good shoes, though obviously use your judgement. They also have a cute selection of fun trinkets and toys.
All in all, great place and a must if you visit LA or live here.

Pros: good prices, great selection, fun place
Cons: parking (sometimes)
Holy cow. This is the most expensive thrift store I have ever shopped in. The clothes are super fly, but come on, who would want to pay those prices. Unfortunately, I could resist the urge to buy a couple of blazers I really liked, but it sure did put a dent in my wallet. I could go to the mall and spend 40% of my bill on new clothes. Odd. Do go if you like variety and a funky style.

I didn't like the store. Yes, the clothes were in style & cute, but definitely not worth the price. You could probably get a NEW outfit elsewhere for the same price. But maybe it's because when I think of used clothing stores, I think of clothing that's cheap.
3I tried to sell a bunch of stuff and got most of it rejected! But I think they have such a great selection of up to date clothing in there. It's more unique and less vintage. Although it is a little pricier than I would think, it might be kinda worth it because the clothing items are usually unique and cool. My mom and I loved the shoe selections they had because they were cleaned and looked fairly new for being used.

I always have fun when I go here. The staff has always been very helpful to me and some of the outrageous clothes are fun to look at. It's not always the cheapest place to shop with some very worn t's going for $15 but sometimes you come across a great deal. I got an adorable GAP denim jacket for $10. It's just about the luck of the day here.

Pros: Fun, Quirky, Good Hours
Cons: Expensive, Crowded, Dusty
The clothes are all previously worn, but this vintage clothing store takes a step up from your momma's thrift store. They have done all the endless hours of sorting through mounds and mounds of clothes for you. They pull out all the little treasures and put them on the rack to save you the hassle. I had a great time sorting thought the racks and seeing all the funny, fun, vintage t-shirts. They also have great jackets and pants. You'll definitely pay more for their pre-sorting efforts, but if you have the extra dollars it's worth it.
PROS: Great vintage treasures
CONS: Some may find it pricey for used clothing

As a long time Buffalo Exchange customer, I find this Miracle Mile location so-so in its selection and pricing of used clothing. Once in awhile, I'll find a great deal on designer jeans, but the overpricing of their women's tops really make vintage-shopping not as enjoyable. They can be really picky in their buying selection.
PROS:
CONS: A toss-up in selection.

a decent place to sell back clothes that are: in good condition and are fairly trendy/vintage. customer service is not very good. expect to find unique vintage clothes.
PROS: cash back or credit for clothes sold
CONS: a bit overpriced for used clothing
I love shopping at Buffalo Exchange. The Sherman Oaks location is great. I just got a Marc Jacobs blouse for $26!!!! The employees are fun and very knowledgable.

It's not that you won't find interesting and cool clothing here, but be prepared to pay fairly steep prices for what the store describes as vintage clothing, which by any other name reads used. Particularly in LA, vintage clothing means jacked up prices, and in a recent trend have made used clothing more acceptable to purchase and wear.

Ok clothes if you're looking for something used. A bit too expensive for used stuff considering they pay very little for it.
3They are hella picky with what they will accept from potential sellers. (my friend brought tons of hardly worn clothes, they accepted 2 items and paid very little). Some things there are cheap, some things arent. The workers are slightly off-puttish, but hey, you arent shopping at a Gap store.
