International Vegetarian House

I've been eating here for years! The food is always fresh and clean tasting. I love the hot soups and the fresh coconut juice is refreshing.The staff is attentive and the food comes quickly.

I've been a vegetarian for 15 years or so, and this is one of my favorite veggie restaurants anywhere. This place serves foods from a variety of cultures. It's owned by a vegetarian religious cult, but they don't proselytize (literature is available in the lobby for the curious). Everything I've had is wonderful (my favorites are the Healthy Red Rice--though they've been out of red rice and using brown for several months) and the Heavenly Salad. One oddity is that their excellent chai tea is only served in the winter. They said that no one orders chai tea in the summer...well, I do, and how hard is it to keep tea and spices in stock all year?
